* Team Hope's superjelly and Bertang_Badtrip received a deduction of 1 point after they used the title of the given song (Winter Wonderland) in their entries' titles. It was stated that the whole song title should not be present in any entry title. Gusto namin yung creative titles, we highly encourage this. However, in this case, either winter or wonderland can be used given that they will not be found together in one title.
**Team Ken's kkp816 received adeduction with a total of 10 points after he exceeded the given word range. He made an entry with 2,500 words and the set range was a maximum of 1,500 words. I gave the judges the matrix for this case, for every 100 words that will exceed or go beneath the given word range will be equal to a deduction of a point. However, his total excess words are 1,000 words.
***JustPlainlyMe, superjelly, Ariadne17 and TheStupidFriendOfHer impressed their respective coaches the most and found themselves atop the Liriko heap. Their entries were smooth, creative, fit for the season, and reflection of the given songs. Simply amazing and worth the time. As a little incentive from us, these four authors will get to see their respective themes, with explanations from their coaches, for the up and coming The Battles. This will happen via pm and way before the announcement of the themes.
A consequence, to be announced together with the mechanics for The Battles, will be given to annerie15, Chenie8, thedreamgoddess, aquilaandromeda, BatangMasakiton, EmpanadaMan, nikolojeyb, wickedevilmallows, -wintersnow, AngPlumaAtAngBaboy, SyntaksError, zandcruzher and Micaena after failing to submit entries for this event.
