Selfish (Camren)

Part 3

"Get your hands off me." The girl tried to firmly say but she only trembled under Lauren's presence.

Lauren however remained captivated by the witch's beauty. Her features were so soft and pure, the complete opposite from Lauren.

"I'm not going to ask again, pretty witch. What did Colton want with you?" Lauren questioned with a hard stare, studying every freckle on the girl's face.

The girl hesitated, debating her chances with the vampire in front of her and Colton. This one seemed much scarier. She lifted her hand ready to cast a spell but the vampire in front of her was fast, grabbing her wrists.

"Silly witch, you can't do magic in these chains." Lauren grinned evilly.

"Tell me your name."

"Camila." The girl answered, staring straight into Lauren's eyes.

"I'm bored, I say we have her for lunch instead." Dinah suggested, ready to sink her teeth into the witch.

Lauren however had other plans and she didn't want the witch to die just yet. "Go find another witch to sink your teeth into." Lauren rolled her eyes, shoving Dinah away from the Camila.

Dinah narrowed her eyes at her friend, not liking the way Lauren was speaking to her. "The witch is not giving us anything useful, so we might as well just kill her."

"She knows something that we do not, so for once in your life, start thinking with that brain of yours instead of your desire to always feed like a mindless fool." Lauren turned to Dinah, pointing out her mistake.

"Oh that's rich coming from you. You've almost killed as much people as your psychotic father in much less time." Dinah said, bringing up a very sensitive topic for Lauren.

Lauren's eyes flashed amber, with a tint of red as her anger began to take over her body. Raven stepped in between, wanting to prevent a bloody fight. "Listen to me Lauren, Dinah didn't mean what she said." Raven tried to reason with Lauren who seemed ready to kill Dinah at any moment.

"I know what I meant." Dinah hissed back, challenging Lauren. She knew bringing up Lauren's father was crossing the line, but she didn't care at that moment.

Lauren let out a roar, pushing Raven out her way and threw Dinah across the room. Dinah bounced off the wall, falling to her feet. Now the blonde's eyes turned red and the veins underneath made it's appearance.

She punched Lauren when the other girl came charging at her, making her tumble back. The two fought back and forth, while Raven could do nothing but watch.

The fight ended with Lauren having Dinah pinned down to the floor. "You're foolish for thinking that have a chance at beating me. I am the hybrid after all." Lauren growled into her face, pulling out a blade.

Dinah eyes widened in fear at the blade and Lauren smirked at this. Raven now intervened at the sight of the blade, pushing Lauren off of Dinah.

"Enough of this madness! Both of you are acting like children." Raven glanced between the pair.

"She needs to learn her lesson about how she speaks to me." Lauren snarled, taking a step forwards.

"You're not think rationally Lauren, put the dagger away." Raven reasoned, blocking Lauren from Dinah.

"She deserves it!"

"No, you're acting out." Raven spoke again.

"Well then, maybe it's you that should receive that fate of the dagger."

Raven didn't have time to process what Lauren said before the blade was pierced into her skin.

The smaller girl's body slowly began to fall to the ground as the blade slowly sucked the life out of her. Soon Raven stopped struggling and her body became lifeless.

Dinah stared at Raven's dead body in shock.

"Next time, it's going to be you." Lauren threatened, picking up Raven's body and carried it to her coffin where Dinah didn't know the whereabouts of.

Dinah then made her escape out the house, not wanting to be near Lauren right now.

"So pretty witch, do you have an answer for-" Lauren stopped speaking when she saw no sign of the witch. The chains that was locked around the witches wrists, lie on the floor broken.

The hybrid huffed in frustration, all of this was not going to plan and she had to find that witch before Colton does.

"Seriously ,Dinah?" Colton raised his eyebrow at the masses of bodies scattering the ground.

Blood dripped from the vampires face as she let go of her last victim. "Maybe you shouldn't send your vampires to follow me." Dinah smirked, licking her lips clean.

"Look, I just want you out of my town before more people die." Colton told her and Dinah let out a laugh, snapping a vampire's neck that tried to sneak up behind her.

Using her vampire speed, she ran forward, pushing Colton up against the wall and she squeezed his neck tightly. "Maybe I should just rip your little head off. I never liked you anyways."

"You wouldn't do that." Colton said in between gasps.

"And why not?" Dinah tilted her head, squeezing his neck a bit tighter.

"You're afraid of what Lauren might do to you if you kill me." He smirked and Dinah growled, plunging her hand into his chest, gripping his heart.

"Are you done throwing a tantrum, Dinah? Put him down." Dinah glared at the boy, pulling her hand from his chest. He gripped his chest in pain as he fell to his knees

"Have you come here to dagger me too." Dinah spat at Lauren.

"Oh my dearest friend, you know that I only have one dagger and Raven is using it right now." Lauren told her.

"Damn, family feud is-" Dinah snapped Colton's neck before he could say anything more.

"Why do you keep doing this to us?" Dinah questioned, hating that Lauren daggered them every time one of them upset her. Well she mostly only daggered Dinah, it only happened to Raven on very rare occasions.

"Because I need to keep you in check!" Lauren answered and Dinah let out a scoff.

"You just want to control me!" Dinah stated. She hated the way that Lauren treated her like a small irresponsible child that needed to be punished.

"It's for your own protection Dinah!"

"My own protection?! I'm fucking immortal Lauren! I cannot die. The only thing I need protection from is you!" Dinah said, now on the verge of tears.

Lauren's jaw clenched at Dinah's tearful eyes. She never liked seeing Dinah cry. She was like a little sister to Lauren after all.

"You just make my life miserable, Lauren." Was Dinah's finale words. She walked out the small cafe that they were in, purposefully bumping Lauren's shoulder on her way out.

Lauren wanted to drag her back in the cafe and give her a piece of her mind, but she knew she had to let Dinah be for now.

Lauren also had her own issues to deal with right now and Dinah was just distracting her.
