This had to be some sick joke. Was this the universe's way of punishing her for all the bad things she's done in her life?

"Lauren, are you okay?" Camila inquired. The hybrid had been silent after Camila told her the news, her mind wondering away from reality.

"This can't be real."Lauren muttered. She felt everything in her body collapse.

"I know it's hard to take in but-"

"No, this isn't real! It can't be." Lauren said standing up. She began pacing around the room, her breathing increasing.

"It is, Dr Fields confirmed it."

"Well then it isn't mine." The hybrid finalised.

"'It' is your baby, Lauren."Camila pointed out, not liking how Lauren was reacting to the news.

"It can't be mine Camila. I've slept with many woman and non of then got pregnant. Who did you sleep with after me huh? Was it the guy in the bar that practically stalks you and comes to see you every day."

"Are you hearing yourself right now!?" The witch exclaimed, she can't believe what Lauren was assuming.

"I can hear myself loud and clear Camila. So read my lips, that child, is not mine!" Lauren shouted, she felt dizzy, her whole world was spinning.

"Sorry to break it to you, but this is your child. I haven't been with anyone else!" Camila yelled back.

Raven, Dinah and Normani then barged into the room when they heard the commotion. "What's going on here?"

"Why don't you ask Camila. She likes to make up lies." Lauren growled, exiting the room.

"What is she talking about?" Dinah asked. Lauren looked like she had seen a ghost.

"I'm pregnant, with her child."

The whole room fell silent, you were able to pin drop miles away.

"Wow you almost had me there, Camila." Dinah laughed, wiping away her fake tears. The group gave her a hard stare and she realised it wasn't a joke. "Oh."

"How are you pregnant with her child?" Normani questioned, she knows Camila had been with Raven for the past two months.

"We slept together before Raven and I were a thing."

"And you didn't tell me?" Raven asked, her voice sounding so small. Camila felt like she was going to cry with the look that Raven was giving her, the look of betrayal.

"It happened long ago, I didn't think this would happen and-"

"Do you love her?" Raven's jaw clenched, preparing herself for Camila's answer.

The witch opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Tears welled up in Camila's eyes, she never meant for any of this to happen.

The vampire peered down at Camila's stomach. Her eyes fixated on the area until she heard a faint heart beat. The baby's heartbeat.

"Forgive me, I have to go for a walk." Raven calmly apologised, leaving the last three by themselves.

"They both hate me now." Camila sobbed, covering her face with her hands.

"Hey, they don't hate you." Normani assured her.

"Are you sure it's Lauren's? Because I'm pretty sure it's impossible for Lauren to have any-" Dinah instantly shut up with Normani gave her a very scary glare.

After strolling through New Orleans for an hour, Raven finally found Lauren.

The hybrid stood on top of the roof of the abandoned warehouse. Lauren only glanced back at Raven when she made her way on to the roof. She turned back around, looking over at the large lake a couple of blocks away.
