Selfish (Camren)

Part 5

Lauren made her way back to her temporary home. She stopped in surprise when she saw Raven sitting on the porch, staring directly at her.

"I see you managed to free yourself." Lauren spoke, walking past Raven into their home.

"You have upset ,Dinah." Raven responded, following her into the house. She gripped Lauren's shoulder to prevent her from walking any further and for Lauren to look at her

"What do you want me to say, Raven? Sorry for daggering you? Because I'm not." The hybrid told her. Raven sighed at her stubborn nature, wanting to smack some sense into her.

"I've hidden the dagger so that you can't bring Dinah anymore distress. As for you, you need learn that what you say and do to Dinah might affect her in a negative way. She has gone out on one of her killing sprees because of you." Raven shook her head, disappointed at the both of them for how they handled the entire situation.

Lauren rolled her eyes at Raven's little rant. Dinah usually had her outburst now and then and it eventually passes. She's use to it by now, so it had no effect on her.

"Are you not understanding, Lauren? The more you do this to her, the further you push her away." Raven explained but Lauren didn't want to listen. Her stubborn nature was getting the best of her.

"Don't bother, she won't listen." Dinah appeared at the door way.

Raven was expecting to see the girl drenched in blood, but she came back looking the same.

"I listen to you." Lauren huffed, causing Dinah to laugh.

"If you've been listening, you'd know that I plan on travelling on my own soon."

Lauren eyes shot to Dinah's, not believing what she was hearing. "So you're just going to leave us for your fantasy of travelling and falling in love? Never heard anything more stupid in my life." Lauren scoffed.

"Do you hear yourself Lauren? You did this! I'm tired of holding my breath around you and I'm so tired of your over protective-"

"I'm only the way I am because I want to make sure you all are safe! I'm not going to lose you. Both of you are the only family that I have left. We all have lost so much over the four centuries we've been alive, but we still haven't lost each other and I don't plan on losing any of you any time soon. Even though we aren't related, you are like sisters to me and from what I know, siblings always look out for each other. So forgive me for protecting my sisters." Lauren expressed, she felt a lump forming in her throat, but she refused to cry.

Raven on the other hand, wiped away a tear that managed to escape her eye. Dinah walked up to Lauren, cupping the hybrids face.

"I'm forever grateful for all you've done to keep me safe. But sometimes you go a bit too far and it only ends up hurting me instead. I too love both of you like my own sisters, but I want to be able to explore the world by myself for once. It's not going to be for forever." The vampire explained and Lauren let out a shaky breath, wanting to protest, but Raven gave her a knowing look.

"Fine, you can go explore and travel the world if you really wish and while your gone, I promise you that I'll work on being a better sister for you and Raven. I know I can be a hot head with a bad temper, but I'm grateful that both of you still stayed and never gave up on me." Lauren softly smiled at Dinah.

The vampire couldn't help herself and engulfed Lauren into hug. Raven then joined the pair, wrapping her arms around the women she loved the most in this world.

"Okay, okay. Enough of this sappy talk." Lauren teased, pulling away from both girls.

"Awww, that was sweet." A women interrupted their moment.

"We can't ever have one nice moment together without somebody ruining it." Dinah growled at the intruder.

"And who might you be?" Raven asked with a firm stance as she stared at the women by the doorway.

"Oh I just came to take what was owed to me." The women smirked. She lifted her hands casting a spell. Dinah fell to her knees, holding her head in pain as the witch casted the spell on her.

Raven reacted by charging at the witch, but with the flick of her wrist, she snapped Raven's neck and the vampire fell to the ground.

Lauren growled, running towards the witch as well but she used magic to shield herself from the hybrid. Then again, with the mere flick of her wrist, she snapped the hybrids neck as well.

"Looks like it's just me and you." The witch said, walking towards Dinah who was in too much pain to even fight back.

Lauren gasped as she woke from her sleep. She turned to Raven that was still knocked out and scrambled over to her friend.

"Raven, get up." Lauren hurriedly shook her, causing Raven to slowly arise from her sleep.

"Fuck what happened?" Raven asked as she sat up.

"That bloody witch took, Dinah." Lauren snarled, ready to go on a rampage and kill anyone that tries to stop her.

"Okay before you go all Lauren Jauregui on everyone, lets think this through. We don't really know anyone in this town and the witch who took Dinah could be anywhere. I think it's wise if we ask someone for help that lives here." Raven explained, but Lauren was getting impatient. Who knows what that witch is doing to Dinah right now.

"Now who do you have in mind?"
