Camila slowly strolled through the dark basement. Her phone's torch didn't do her much justice with illuminating the room but it had to do.

She finally spotted the coffin, and set her phone down as she opened the top. Camila's breath hitched a little at the sight of Raven's lifeless body. Her grey corpse lay still with dark think veins trailing down her body.

The witch then inspected the knife that protruded out of the vampire's body. She grabbed ahold of the knife and pulled it out, but not without some struggle.

She watched carefully as the colour slowly returned back to the vampire's skin. Raven's eyes shot open and she quickly sat up, taking in her surroundings.

Her eyes furrowed in confusion when she noticed Camila's presence and the dagger in the witch's hand.

"A thank you would be nice." Camila joked, stepping back, so that the vampire could climb out from the coffin.

"How long was I out?" Raven questioned as she hopped out the coffin. She eyed the dagger in the witch's hand and Camila willingly handed it over.

"Not long, because I came to free you." Camila answered, picking up her phone, ready to leave.

"Wait! Why did you free me?" Raven stared at the witch in front of her. Camila smiled, making Raven's heart pound a little bit faster. The witch made her feel nervous and nobody made Raven Reyes nervous. "You saved my people and I only thought I'd return the favour." Camila simply told her and left Raven alone with her own thoughts.

After cleaning herself up and finding a food source. Now in possession of the dagger, Raven made sure to hide it where Lauren couldn't never find it and use it on either her or Dinah again.

She was about to leave their home when she bumped into Dinah. Dinah quickly wiped away the tears that ran down her face and gave Raven a tight hug.

"Who let you out?" Dinah asked in surprise. She wasn't expecting to see Raven this soon.

"I had a little help, but I have to ask why you've been crying?" Raven wiped away her remaining tears. Dinah simply shrugged and gave Raven and knowing look.

"Lauren." Raven sighed. Lauren had been out of control for these last couple of years. The anger that the hybrid tried to bury so deep inside made it's appearance and never went away.

After Lauren killed the people that killed her family, she started going out of control. Raven thought that Lauren would've found peace. Instead, her heart and soul grew darker, no killings ever satisfying her need for revenge.

"I'm sorry for her behaviour. I think being in this town is making her act out." Raven apologised, wiping her thumb over Dinah's cheek.

Dinah shook her head, pulling back from Raven's touch. "No she's been like this for years now! How long are we going to live our lives in fear? Do you no how tiring it is for me to watch every little thing I do, so that I don't anger her or else she'll dagger me! You have not spent seven years with that knife in your body and felt nothing be cold and darkness. I'm just so tired, Raven." Dinah gritted through her teeth, angry tears escaping her eyes.

"I know Dinah, but you know this isn't how Lauren truly is. You know the true loving and caring Lauren that will do anything to protect her family. She just needs some guidance and help right now." Raven tried to convince Dinah but she wasn't having it.

Dinah pushed away Raven's hands as they tried to reach for her. "I do not want to help her anymore." Dinah angrily spat. Her heavy breathing, worried Raven because she knew what was about to happen.

Dinah's eyes turned red, as her fangs extended.

"Calm down Dinah, you're not thinking straight." Raven warned her friend. When Dinah got like this, she would usually go out on a killing spree. Killing hundreds of even thousands.

"I don't want to think straight at the moment." Dinah hissed, running away from Raven.

Lauren hungrily sucked the blood out of her victims body. She was frustrated by what Dinah had said to her and being in this town made her even more angry.

Using her heightened hearing, she heard a soft gasp behind her. She let go of her victim and compelled him to forget every that just happened.

She also quickly ran up to the person that was watching her, pinning them to the wall before they could escape.

"I've been looking for you, Camila." Lauren smirked, remembering the witch's name. Camila's breath hitched at the vampire's close proximity, and her eyes trailed down her face to her lips that was still covered in some blood.

"Are you done checking me out?" Lauren teased, watching Camila's eyes fall to her lips.

The brunette, quickly averted her eyes, bringing it back up to Lauren's. "As if I was checking you out." Camila shot back.

"Stalking me and staring at my lips. I think that counts as checking me out."

"You're the one looking for me." Camila pointed out, not amused by Lauren's accusations.

Lauren couldn't help but chuckle at the feisty witch. Finding it... kinda refreshing.

"I'm only looking for you, because you have information that I might need." Lauren said, loosening her grasp from the witch and stepping back.

Camila let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding. She ran her eyes down the vampire's body, soaking in ever detail until they trailed back up to her face. Lauren was in no doubt very beautiful.

"Still checking me out love? This might be a problem." Lauren smiled, enjoying Camila's gaze on her body.

"Like I said. As if." Camila crossed her arms, glaring at Lauren, but she wasn't much good at that since she wasn't a mean person at all.

Lauren chuckled again at the witch's attempt to glare at her. Camila hard stare, only softened when she heard Lauren's small laugh, finding the vampire with blood all over her lips, kind of cute.

"Let's put your obvious infatuation that you have with me aside so that you can tell me why Colton wanted you and that other witch." Lauren cut to the chase.

"I don't know what he wanted." Camila declared and Lauren narrowed her eyes at the witch. She didn't think that Camila was telling the truth.

"Now Camila, I wouldn't want to dismantle such a pretty head." Lauren threatened, taking a step closer to the witch.

Camila frowned at the vampire, not appreciating her threats. "So is this how you talk to people? Threaten them until they're trembling in fear? It must be exhausting." Camila stated and Lauren's jaw clenched in anger.

Camila feared that she might have struck a nerve and that it might be her last day on earth. "Look, I just came for some answers. Nobody has to die." Lauren calmly explained, she didn't really want to rip off the girl's head but she would if needed to.

"Like I said I don't know what he wanted."

Lauren growled, ready to get the information out the witch herself.

"But, what I do know is that he wanted me to find something. I just don't know what it is." Camila concluded. She held up her hands in front of her in defence if Lauren decided to attack.

The hybrid studied the girl in front of her, looking for anything that might suggest that she's lying.

"Now that wasn't so hard was it? I'm glad that I didn't have to kill such a beautiful girl like you." Lauren said with amusement.

Even though the girl in front of her sounded like a complete psychopath, Camila couldn't help but blush, averting her eyes to the floor. When she brought them back up, Lauren was gone. She shivered a bit, still able to feel Lauren presence in the air.
