Selfish (Camren)

Part 27

"What is this place?" Camila asked as her and Lauren stood in front of a big house that was in the middle of no where.

"It's where my family hid, when I was born." Lauren answered and Camila glanced at her, noticing the way her lips curved into a sad smile.

Lauren never really spoke much about her family and Camila wanted to know her entire life story. She wanted to know about the Original family, the family that the world use to fear before the next generation vampires.

"Let's get some rest first, then I'll tell you everything that you want to know." The tribrid spoke again, as if she read Camila's mind.

Camila went upstairs, to change and unpack their things, while Lauren carried in the rest of the bags.

"Camila did you see my-"

The brown eyed girl turned to look at her, she wasn't wearing a shirt and only a bra, her top half exposed.

Lauren glanced down at the very visible bump on her stomach. She was much bigger than Lauren remembered. Camila had been wearing baggier clothes to conceal her bump

"Do you want to come feel?" Camila gently said and Lauren slowly walked towards her. Her hand hovered over Camila's stomach and she didn't know why she felt scared. She's felt the girl's stomach before, but this time felt different.

The hybrid then guided Lauren's hand, allowing her to trace the skin softly. When Lauren touched a certain spot she felt something move. Both of them looked at each other in surprise.

"I think that was the baby's first kick." Camila grinned as she watched Lauren's eyes light up. She place her hand their again and there was another kick.

"I can see that the baby is already a mommy's child." Camila joked and Lauren cracked a smile, her only focus on the little baby inside.

The next movement was a completely different feeling. Lauren's hand began to glow lightly and they both watched in awe.

"We have another witch on the way." Lauren leaned back up so she was now face to face with Camila.

"I could never thank you enough for this gift that you've given me." Lauren sincerely told her and Camila brought her hand to cup her cheek, tracing the skin lightly.

"It takes two to make a baby." She teased playfully and Lauren smiled for a brief moment until tears welled up in her eyes.

Camila frowned thinking that she had said something wrong.

"Over the years people have asked me about what I was scared of." Lauren now looked at her with glossy eyes and Camila waited patiently for her to continue.

"And I always looked at them like they were mad? What possibly could the most powerful creature in the world be scared of? I didn't fear anything, all things feared me." Lauren chuckled sadly and Camila felt a knot forming in her own chest.

"But then one day. This was probably hundred years after my family was killed, Dinah, Raven and I were settled in a small village. We weren't in the best situation and we were all still regular vampires, and we weren't as immortal as we are today. The tension between me and them were heavy and they couldn't deal with my regular outburst and consistent bad moods and they threatened to leave me. And me being the stupid prideful idiot I was, I told them that I didn't care if they left so they did. I was alone for half a century and it was probably the worst time of my life. I realised that the thing I feared was being alone for eternity and in my case eternity is a long time. I didn't have any family left and Raven and Dinah were the closest thing I had to family, they are my family. That's why I daggered Raven and Dinah so many times, it was out of fear that they'd leave me. Now you've giving me a family and I don't feel so alone anymore." Lauren wiped her tears and Camila tilted her head, giving Lauren a sweet kiss.

"You've also given me a family." Both Camila's parents were dead, her sister was dead and her aunt had her own children to look after. She also had nobody until Lauren.

"Two lonely souls found each other and now they aren't so lonely anymore." Both girls smiled, going in for another kiss.

If people saw this side of Lauren, they'd actually see that she's just a scared girl who's parents were ripped away from her too soon and she didn't know how to deal with the loss. She just didn't want to be alone.

"This might be a major buzz kill, but I'm actually really hungry." Lauren laughed at Camila's confession.

"Good thing a picked up a few snacks." Lauren smirked and quickly rushed downstairs to retrieve their food.

Camila in the mean while put her shirt back on and made her way downstairs as well.

"Blood bags?" Camila stared at the two bags that Lauren had set out on the table.

"Yeah, they aren't as good as the blood that comes straight from the arteries and veins, but this will have to do." Lauren said handing her a blood bag.

Camila stared at the item in her hands. This blood came from a living human being. This was what she had to do now in order to survive. She had to feed off people. The worst thing was that she really wanted to, she wants to rip that bag open and down everything inside.

"Don't think about it too much, just let go." The tribrid explained and she ripped open the top with her teeth, immediately drinking the substance.

Camila ripped the top open as well, not giving it a second thought. The minute the blood dropped on her tongue, Camila felt a new surge of power enter her body. Her eyes went dark and her vangs become prominent as she greedily sucked the bad dry.

"Good?"

Camila turned to Lauren who's eyes were a golden colour instead of black. Camila could make out the canines that Lauren couldn't hide it as easily as Camila could with her own fangs.

She never felt anything like this. She never felt power like this.

She sauntered over to Lauren. She bit her lip as she traced the remaining blood that spilled down Lauren's chin.

She brought her thumb to her mouth, seductively sucking the blood away. Lauren growled at the sight, trying hard to jump Camila right there.

"I feel amazing, babe." Camila smirked and used her strength to push Lauren up against the wall. The plaster beneath Lauren cracked, the wall splitting in the middle.

Lauren changed the position, so that Camila's back was against the wall.

"Is that all you got little wolf?" Camila smirked, pushing Lauren back on to the counter and climbing on top of her.

The tribrid moaned at Camila's new strength. Feeling the girl siphon magic out of her. But she was still in charge, she was still dominant.

She flipped them over once again, her hand curling around Camila's neck as her scraped her teeth against the skin.

"Are you sure you can handle it, pretty witch?" Lauren pulled back, staring into Camila's eyes.

Camila pulled her down by the collar of her shirt, whispering into her ear. "Show me what I'm missing." Her vangs sunk into Lauren's neck and Lauren golden eyes turned red, due to arousel and pure lust was.

Lauren lifted her up, using her vampire speed to carrying them to the bedroom.

"So beautiful." Lauren mumbled as they started to shed their clothes and carry on into the night until both their bodies couldn't take it anymore.
