"Try to keep your steps light. You don't want to scare it away." Raven whispered next her, while they crouched low.
Camila breathed heavily, she was hungry and this waiting wasn't doing it for her. "Can I go now?" She questioned and Raven shook her head, wanting the time to be should right.
"Oh for god sakes!" Lauren grumbled from afar and made her move. She quickly attacked the deer, snapping its neck.
"You can't keep doing that Lauren! Camila's never going to learn." Raven got up from her position and Lauren rolled her eyes.
"Camila needs to learn how to feed off humans instead of road kill. She and the baby need proper blood, not this shit." Lauren watched as Camila, ran towards the dead deer.
The girl hesitated at first, but she eventually stuck her fangs into the animal. "Wouldn't you like a proper meal, love?" Lauren questioned and Camila wiped her face from the remaining blood.
"I told you Lauren. I don't want to kill anyone."
"But you don't need to kill anyone. You'll just drink some of their blood and compel them to forget." The tribrid shrugged and Camila gave her a pointed look.
"Plus you have magic on your side, which makes things a whole lot easier." Lauren grinned and pulled Camila by her waist.
The new vampire giggled playfully when Lauren lifted her into her arms, bringing her in for a loving kiss. Raven lowered her eyes, not ready yet to watch her sister kiss the girl she still loved.
"Sorry to interrupt but can I speak to Lauren alone, please?" Raven asked and Camila pulled back from their kiss, walking back to the farm house to leave the two of them alone.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Raven crossed her arms and Lauren sighed, preparing herself for one of Raven's long lectures.
"Do you not realise what it will do to Camila if we let her feed on humans? That girl is so kind and compassionate towards others which means that guilt that she will feel, will be ten times worse than what we felt the first time we killed our first person. To make things worse her emotions are now heightened and she isn't going to be able to deal with that. You and I both know what will eventually happen and do you want the mother of your child to turn of her emotions and go rogue?" Lauren wanted to argue, she wanted to tell Raven that she was being paranoid, but deep down she knew it was true.
"I get what you're saying but if we don't teach her how to control her blood lust, she's going to end up-"
"Like me." Raven finished her sentence and Lauren eyes widened.
"I wasn't going to say that."
"But you know it's true. I never learnt how to properly control my blood lust and when I lose control I kill everything in sight." Raven reminisced her very dark past. Between her and Lauren, you'd be surprised to hear that Raven had killed many more people than Lauren has.
The night she killed all those children in the hospital, everything had changed. A vampire she loved very much took Raven under her wing and helped her control her urge by teaching her to feed off animal blood instead. Raven really loved her, but Lauren at the end killed the vampire because she thought that she wasn't helping Raven be who she truly was. But Raven had carried on with her lifestyle of only eating animal blood, much to Lauren's protest.
"You haven't killed fed on human blood for over a hundred years." Lauren pointed out and Raven nodded, she didn't want to back to the way she was.
"Raven I just wanted you to know that I-" Lauren couldn't finished her sentence because, bullets were shot her way. The tribrid fell to the ground from the amount of ammunition that were fired at her body.
Raven reacted quickly, pulling the man that hid behind one of the trees and snapped his neck. A wooden arrow was fired at her, but she caught it before it hit her head.
Using her heightened hearing and smell she found another person hidden in a bush and pulled the man from his hiding spot and he stabbed her in the stomach. Raven glanced down at the blade in her gut and she pulled it out, using it to slit the man's throat.
During all this someone came up behind and stuck a blade through her chest. "You gotta be kidding me." Raven mumbled as she peered down at the blade protruding out her chest.
With the last strength she had left, Raven spun around, punching the person behind her square in the face.
She tackled them to the ground, her hands moving to their head to rip it off.
"Octavia?" Raven froze in shock when familiar green eyes stared back at her. Using Raven's distraction to her advantage, she kicked the vampire off of her and grabbed a small tube of vervain. She broke the glass throwing at the vampire's face and took off.
Raven screamed in pain as the herbal substance burnt her eyes, preventing her from running after the human.

•Lauren eyes fluttered open at the sound of a voice calling her name.
"Oh god you're okay." Camila sighed, pulling her in for a hug and Lauren hissed at the contact.
"There are still bullets in my body." The tribrid explained.
Camila lifted her hand and waved her fingers. The bullets all filtered out Lauren's body and she sighed in relief. "You're still good with your magic, pretty witch." Lauren smiled.
"Expect now, I have my own magic." Camila grinned, making her finger tips glow.
"Shit, she covered her tracks." Raven growled to herself.
"Who attacked us?" Lauren questioned, standing up and dusting herself off.
Raven inspecting the dead bodies, not recognising any of them. "I don't know, but one I knew. It was Octavia."
"She's still alive? Is she a vampire now?"
"No, but something was definitely different about her." Raven explained.
Camila wondered over to the dead bodies, checking if she could find anything that might help them. As she was searching through one of the men's pockets, her hand came into contact with the blood that had been spilt.
She held up her hand to her face and the sudden urge to feed slowly started to consume her. Camila's lips curled and her vangs extended. Just as she was going to sink her teeth into the corpses body, Lauren tackled Camila to the ground.
"Get off of me!" She growled, but Lauren pinned her down firmly.
"Camila, calm down." The tribrid softly said, staring at Camila's red black eyes.
"I thought you wanted me to have human blood!?"
"I do, but not right now. Not like this. I don't want you losing control " Lauren reasoned and the instantly calmed her down.
The three vampires turned their heads when their headed footsteps coming their way.
"We have a problem." Colton told them.
"I don't have time to deal-"
"The town knows about Camila and they aren't happy." He added on and Lauren paled, glancing at the girl beneath her.
