"Excuse me?" Raven asked, hoping that she heard wrong.
"You heard me Raven." Camila didn't feel like repeating herself.
"What, why, how?" The vampire couldn't find the words.
"I'm part of the Gemini coven and there's a ritual practised in the coven when twins are born. When twins turn 22, they have to undergo a ritual called the merge. In short, the stronger twin absorbs the weaker twins magic, killing the weaker twin and the stronger twin then becomes the new leader of the Gemini coven." The witch explained.
"You have a sister? A twin? When did you plan on telling us this?"
"I didn't. But since I'm pregnant, everything has changed." Camila confessed and Raven felt sick hearing this.
"Bloody hell Camila! Why didn't you tell me sooner, I could've gone around and asked witches if there is a way out of this and-"
"There's no way out of this. Believe me, I've done everything to try and find a solution but I haven't. My aunt has been trying as well and is still trying." Camila sighed and Raven rapidly shook her head, she was not letting Camila give up this easily.
"There's always a loophole, there's always another way and I'm going to find it." Raven said and the witch gave her a sad smile, silently telling her that it's hopeless.
"Does Lauren know?" This was the first time she's ever seen Raven get emotional, the tears that welled up in the vampire's eyes, made Camila feel guilty and she shook her head.
"I haven't told her."
"I think that you should tell her, it's the least you could do." Raven's tone was bitter, she wasn't angry at Camila, but angry at this stupid ritual that her coven had to do.

Camila walked around the compound trying to find Lauren to tell her then dreadful news. She passed by a room and it's door was always closed until now.
She opened the door wider and slowly made her way inside. She didn't expect to see Lauren's sitting in front a large canvas painting. She had all kinds of colours smeared on her clothes and she looked so peaceful.
"Camila! What are you doing here?" The hybrid quickly covered up what she was doing and made her way to the girl.
"You're painting? I've never seen you do that."
"I haven't painted in years, because it reminded me of painful times in my life. But now I feel better, I think it's because of you and the baby." Lauren smiled but it instantly went away when she saw the sad look on Camila's face.
"I have to tell you something."
The witch told Lauren everything that she had told Raven and Lauren never said a word through the entire speech.
"Say something, please."
"I have nothing to say to you right now." The hybrid calmly said, walking passed her. Camila quickly grabbed her arm, not wanting Lauren to leave because they needed to speak about this.
"Don't Camila. I'm so upset with you right now. Keeping a big secret like this from me, while I've literally been putting my life on the line to keep you safe, is selfish. You're the one that's been lecturing me these past months about being a good person and looking out for others, but you're such a hypocrite." Lauren head was swirling with emotions, she wanted to run into town and make everyone remember why they feared her. She wanted to rip Camila's sister apart and keep any and all danger away from Camila.
"You think this was easy for me Lauren?! I've dreading my whole life for this moment. My own sister is going to kill me the first chance she gets when the ceremony starts. Even if I wanted to fight back, I can't. She has her own magic while I don't and it's my sister, I can't kill her . I also didn't want to bring unnecessary stress to all your lives and have you worry about me and try to find ways to save me when in reality I'm going to die."
Lauren only scoffed, shaking her head. "Keeping something like that from us, is selfish Camila. You may think that you were doing us a favour, but in reality you've hurt us more. I'm going to shift the worlds and swim oceans to find a solution by tomorrow, not just for you, but for my unborn child."

"What the hell happened between you and Lauren?" Dinah walked into Camila's room to witness the girl crying.
"I screwed up Dinah." The witch sobbed and the vampire instantly sat by her side, rubbing circles on her back.
"Whatever it is, Lauren will be able to forgive you."
"Not for this."
"I assure you Camila. Lauren might not be very forgiving to other people but when it comes to family, she'll always forgive you. I almost got her killed once and she forgave me for that." Dinah joked but Camila didn't laugh.
"Okay whatever it is, you two need to sort it out. She's gone on a rampage and is terrorising the town." Dinah had heard the news of people's bodies being found ripped to shreds.
"She hates me."

"When were either one of you planning on telling me about the merge." Lauren had rounded up the witches in New Orleans, all of them whispered amongst each other.
"I asked you all a question! Did you plan on keeping it from me so that I'd keep on helping you all? I saved you all from the vampires and this is how you repay me?! Keeping the merge a secret was a big mistake." Lauren shouted, her canines were bared and her eyes glowed amber with veins protruding under.
The witches kept the ritual a secret because they knew it had to be done, it was a tradition and the vampires would've just interfered.
"For that you'll all pay." The hybrid growled.
"You can't take all of us! We can kill you if we use all our powers" One witch yelled and the other all yelled along.
Lauren was ready to attack but then she felt pain shoot through her whole body. The witches all held hands chanting a spell. There had to at least be more than hundred of them, enough to kill a next generation vampire but it'll kill all of them in the process.
The immortal creature squeezed her eyes tight when she felt her head pound. It was almost unbearable.
But something switched inside her and she began to rise again, taking in a deep breath. "I think you've all forgotten who I am? I'm daughter of the alpha and hybrid Clara Morgado and daughter of Michael Jauregui, the original hybrid with witch descent, making me, the very first tribrid."
Lauren lifted her hands, feeling magic circulate through her whole body. She hadn't used her witch side in years, meaning that she had all this power waiting to rush out.
"Your first mistake and last mistake was crossing me." Lauren said, pushing her hands forward, letting the magic escape her body. And just like that, every single creature that stood in a certain radius from Lauren collapsed and died.
The tribrid felt her veins pulsing and her body buzzed from the magic. Lauren smirked, her amber eyes turning a deep dark red.
