Rebecca snuggled into Colby's arms and said quietly " I hadn't thought of that" "but, suppose the baby is yours.." she said "then what?" "we've never even talked about kids" "IF this baby is mine" he said "I will be there for you every step of the way." he told her.
"A baby is a precious gift from heaven, created out of love" he said. "we love each other, and I would be willing to bet the house, that the baby growing inside you is because we love each other, and not because of a pathetically disgusting waste of oxygen." he said kissing her forehead.
"let's get some sleep" he told her. Colby changed into his basketball shorts and watched as Rebecca gingerly tried to get her sundress off "ow!!" "fookin hell" she groaned sitting down on the bed "im too sore". Colby helped her to her feet "let me help you" he said. he undid the zipper and slid the straps off her arms and then she was able to get it off the rest of the way. he hung it up for her and went into wash his hands. then he slowly applied lotion to her roughed up skin."
"thanks love" she said she carefully laid down next to him. as he gently put his arms around her she just seemed to melt into them. "do you think we are ready for a baby?" she asked him. "well... we weren't exactly doing anything to prevent it from happening." he reminded her.
"im partially to blame" for that she giggled "my faith taught me that contraceptives are from the devil himself" she said "and that if you aren't willing to welcome babies into your life you need to totally 100 percent abstain from intimacy until you are ready to."
"well, that doesn't sound like much fun" he chuckled. "definitely not" she giggled "especially when it you are with THE ONE, and it feels so amazing when you are together" Colby blushed. suddenly her eyes felt very heavy. "goodnight love" she said kissing him softly. "goodnight becks" he said as his hand rested against where there would soon be a baby bump. "goodnight little one" he said softly.
(5 MONTHS LATER)
"Are you out of your mind?!?" Ashley screeched at Rebecca.. "I can't believe you actually decided to go through with it!" she said. "that lowlife piece of dog crap doesn't deserve to have a baby...EVER" she said. "you should have terminated it when you had the chance." she added.
"Ash... my faith would never allow me to end an innocent unborn baby's life" she told her. "and besides that" she said "have you forgotten that there is the possibility that the man that I love is the father of my baby?" he has made sure to be at every one of my appointments so far, and he has been reading everything that is sent home with us." she said.
"and right now, he is upstairs putting the crib together" she giggled " he said he doesn't want to wait till the last minute." "listen to me spaz" Ashley said. "until that test is done you don't know who the baby daddy is.. and for you to string Seth along is cruel" she added.
"Ash... I need to tell you something" Rebecca said.. "every time I have been measured at my appointments, I am measuring farther along than what was initially thought... which means.... I was already pregnant that night we got jumped. " she told her. "I am still having the test done" she continued "but, in my heart there is no doubt that Seth is the father of my baby."
"how can you be so sure?" Ashley said. "because I love him" she said "and this baby was created in heaven out of love" "you are so delusional" Ashley told her..."you'll see" "I know i'm right" she said "I always am."
