Chapter Three

Alexis begins walking into the firehouse for next shift.
Truck 81, Squad 3, Amblance 61, car accident.
Alexis throws her bag by the Squad table. They get to the call.
"What happened here?" Casey asked.
"This maniac came out of nowhere!" Guy yelled.
Alexis runs over to the car that looks like someone's in trouble.
"Sir can you hear me?" Alexis repeats a few times.
A few seconds later a car explodes and Alexis gets thrown into the water. No one noticed since they didn't hear the splash because of the explosion.
"Everyone careful." Casey said.
A few minutes pass and they still haven't noticed Alexis is missing.
Severide looks by the water since there are multiple cars near the water.
"Foster I need you." Severide said over the radio.
Foster runs over as Severide starts taking off his turnout gear.
"Stay here." Severide said.
Severide jumps into the water trying to get Alexis put she keeps on going deeper and deeper. He soon catches up and grabs her. Severide soon catches up and brings her back into the street.
"Her lips are turning blue." Severide said.
Alexis isn't breathing. Severide starts CPR.
"Brett I need you over here!" Foster said over the radio.
"Come on!" Severide said as he continues doing CPR.
Brett runs over.
"What happened?" Brett asked.
"She was in the water. I don't know for how long." Severide said continuing CPR.
"No brain damage." Foster said.
Alexis starts choking on the water. Severide sits her up and as Alexis coughs water comes out.
"You alright?" Kelly asked.
Alexis leans on Kelly.
"Let's get you a blanket." Brett said.
"I'm not going to the hospital." Alexis said.
Brett nods. They walks over to the ambulance and Alexis wraps the blanket around her. Alexis walks to the front of 81 and sits down.
"I'm fine." Alexis said hearing someone walking up to her.
"Sure you are." Kidd said.
"Stella I'm fine. I just need to take a break." Alexis said.
A few minutes later they finish up the call and get back to the firehouse.
Alexis starts to take a shower and she stares at her scars that's surrounding her left side of her body. A couple minutes later she finishes her shower and gets dressed.
"Morgan you can have the rest of this shift off. You were in the water for a while." Casey said.
"Captain I'm fine." Alexis said.
Casey nods. Alexis lays on her bed and falls asleep. She begins dreaming.
"Mom!" Young Alexis yelled.
"Alex!" ALexis's little brother, James yelled.
"Is everyone ok?" Alexis's mom yelled.
The smoke gets heavy fast. James and Alexis's mom Diane pass out.
"Guys?" Alexis weakly said barely conscious.
"James?" Alexis weakly calls out.
"Mom?" Alexis weakly said.
Alexis starts crying knowing that she just lost the only family she knew.
"Alexis?" A fimilar voice said.
Alexis wakes up with tears in her eyes.
"Alexis are you ok?" Severide asked.
Alexis nods.
"I heard you tossing and turning. Also you talking in your sleep." Severide said.
"I said I'm ok." Alexis said.
Alexis walks to the common room.
"Morgan my office." Severide said.
