Chapter Thirty Two

Alexis and Will wake up with the smell of breakfast. Alexis excitingly walks downstairs.
"Yes, it's what you smell." Jill said.
Alexis squeals. Will smiles at the sight of his girlfriend's happiness over food.
"I hate school!" Olivia said as she walks in coming back from college.
"Hey Liv." Alexis said.
Olivia squeals and hugs Alexis.
"Will, this is Olivia Baker. Liv, this is Will, my boyfriend." Alexis said.
"You got a brother?" Olivia asked.
"He's too old for you." Alexis said.
"Are you calling me old?" Will asked.
Alexis smiles and they eat.
"We're going to go around town." Alexis said.
"Be careful." Jill said.
They begin walking into town.
"They seem nice." Will said.
"Liv was this crazy 8 year old when I met her." Alexis said.
"I can only imagine." Will said.
Alexis smiles.
"She would volunteer at the hospital while I go with Luke to work." Alexis said.
"I can imagine you helping out at the firehouse at 17." Will said.
Alexis smiles as she sees the firehouse she basically spent the rest of her childhood in.
"Guessing this is where you grew up?" Will asked.
"Yeah." Alexis said.
"Why don't we go in." Will said.
Alexis runs in sneaking behind Lance.
"Miss me?" Alexis asked.
"The Alexis Morgan returns with another guy." Hunter said.
"Will these are my annoying older brothers." Alexis said as she thinks of everyone as her older brothers.
"You got more of those?" Will said.
Alexis smiles.
"This is Will Halstead, my boyfriend." Alexis said.
Alexis introduces the firefighters. They stay an extra day and get home.
"Glad to have you back." Herrmann said as he gives her rum and coke.
"Where's the boy?" Kelly asked.
"Needed at work." Alexis said.
Kelly hugs Alexis. Alexis doesn't let go.
"Thank you for always being there for me." Alexis said only loud enough for Kelly to hear.
"Thank you for always putting up with me." Kelly said.
Alexis smiles.
"Hey Hoosier." Brett said.
"Hoosier." Alexis said.
Brett smiles.
"What are you talking about?" Kelly asked.
"Brett and I are Hoosiers." Alexis said.
"What are hoosiers?" Casey asked.
Casey kisses Brett.
"The one time I wasn't on shift." Alexis whines.
Brett smiles.
"Hoosiers?" Casey asked still confused.
"Never even heard of it." Kelly said.
Brett and Alexis get more drinks.
"You get the goods?" Brett asked.
"In my car." Alexis said.
Brett gets excited.
"Movie night?" Alexis asked.
"Yes." Brett said.
They get to Alexis's place and start watching movies. Brett starts eating the snack that Alexis's got from Indiana.
