A month passes by
"How mad at me would you be if I moved back to truck?" Alexis asked as her and Brett are at a booth at Molly's.
"I figured this would happen sooner or later." Brett said looking kinda sad.
"I'm sorry. I just miss running into fires." Alexis said.
"You'll always be my Indiana buddy." Brett said.
Alexis smiles.
"Update me on you and Will." Brett said.
"I don't know. He seems kind of distant." Alexis said.
"What?" Brett asked.
"He barely talks to me anymore. It's like something changed." Alexis said.
"I'm sorry." Brett said.
"It's alright." Alexis said.
Alexis gets a text message from Will to meet her outside.
"I'll be back." Alexis said.
"Be careful." Brett said.
Alexis walks outside.
"What do you want to talk about?" Alexis asked.
"What is going on with you and Severide?" Will asked.
"If you're saying if I'm cheating on you, no. He's literally like my older brother and my best friend. Everyone at 51 literally tells me that I remind them of Shay. She was Kelly's best friend and roommate until she died while on duty. I have no romantic feelings against Kelly. That is crazy to think that you think that I have feelings for him. What if I asked you if you have feelings for Nat? How would you feel?" Alexis asked.
Will walks away.
"So you're just walking away. You barely talk to me unless I drop a patient at Med." Alexis shouts.
Will drives away. Alexis walks back in and gets herself another drink.
"He just asked me what's going on with Kelly and I." Alexis said.
"Gross." Brett said.
"He's my big brother. Everyone there are. Boden is like my other father. You guys are my fourth family." Alexis said.
"Bakers and the firehouse there?" Brett asked.
"They used to tease me so much." Alexis said.
Brett smiles.
"My least favorite person." Kelly said.
"Oh wow. Love you too." Alexis said.
Kelly smiles.
"I am going home before I get drunk." Alexis said.
