They get to Severide's office.
"What?" Alexis said in a mood.
"Watch your tone with me." Severide said.
Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61, Building fire.
They quickly get to the call.
"There's a family in there!" The next door neighbor said.
"How many people?" Casey asked.
"Five." The neighbor said.
Alexis gets her mask on.
"Are you coming?" Alexis asked.
"Otis watch the house." Casey instructed.
"Doherty, Kaufman get ready to hit the house. Ritter with me, we're hitting it from the inside." Herrmann instructed.
"Cruz, Capp with me." Severide instructed.
They separate through out the house.
"I got the kid." Alexis said.
"I'll bring out the other one." Casey said.
Casey and Alexis quickly got out of the house.
"Greg." The kid struggles to say with the amount of smoke inhalation she has.
"Who's Greg?" Alexis asked.
"Little brother." The kid said.
Alexis runs back inside.
"Morgan!" Casey yelled.
"Greg!" Alexis yelled from inside.
"Mommy!" Greg quietly yelled.
Alexis finds Greg.
"Having this on will make you feel better." Alexis said.
Alexis takes off her SCBA mask and puts it on Max.
"Morgan get out of there now!" Casey yelled over the radio.
Alexis walks out and lays Greg on the stretcher.
"His oxygen levels aren't great." Alexis said.
"Morgan, Come to my office when we get back to 51." Casey said.
"Whatever." Alexis said.
They finish the call and gets back to 51.
"What do you want to talk about?" Alexis asked.
"That call. Why would you run back in? You could see how unstable it was getting." Casey said.
"I heard that there was a little boy in there. I knew that the mother and father didn't make it. I couldn't let her be alone." Alexis said.
"You can't be overly attached with every call we have." Casey said.
"I wasn't just overly attached. I was that girl! I was 16 when it happened. It was my mom, dad, and my little brother. Just like that family. They ended up dying right before the firefighters got there. 13.5% of my body was burned, my left side." Alexis said.
Alexis begins to take off her jacket.
"Morgan, you don't." Casey said.
"I do." Alexis said.
Alexis takes off her shirt.
"This is why I don't wear short sleeves. I was bullied. Freddy Krueger. That's what the kids used to call me. I was 16 at that point. None of my family wanted to take care of a girl with 2nd and 3rd degree burns." Alexis said.
Casey was about to talk.
"Don't." Alexis said as she puts her shirt on and walks away.
Alexis sits outside the firehouse.
"Anyone sitting here?" Brett asked.
"Go right ahead." Alexis said playing with her sleeve.
"You alright? You seemed pretty upset after leaving Casey's office." Brett said.
"Brought up some bad memories." Alexis said.
"If you ever want to talk I'm here." Brett said.
