Chapter Twenty

Two long hours pass and Kelly's surgery is done.
"Morgan, He's out of surgery. He'll be out of work until his wounds heal." Marcel said.
Alexis walks to Kelly's room.
"Hey beautiful." Kelly said.
Alexis slowly walks to Kelly's bed and lays next to him, not saying anything.
"What happened?" Kelly asked.
Alexis starts crying again.
"Alexis Rae Morgan, talk to me." Kelly said.
Alexis starts playing with Kelly's finger.
"When you're ready, please tell me." Kelly said.
Sometime passes and Alexis fell asleep next to Kelly. Will walks in.
"What happened?" Kelly asked.
"Luke died and Connor left." Will said.
"Her Luke?" Kelly asked.
Will nods his head. Kelly instantly feels bad.
"I'm going to kill him." Kelly said after Connor hurt his best friend.
"Just be there." Will said.
Kelly nods.
A day passes
Alexis wakes up next to Kelly.
"Morning beautiful." Kelly said.
"Do you want anything? Food, clothes?" Alexis asked.
Kelly wraps his arms around Alexis.
"I want you to stay here." Kelly said.
Alexis smiles.
"I like seeing you smile." Kelly said.
Alexis makes a face at Kelly.
"Alexis Rae." Kelly said.
Alexis sticks her tongue out.
"Hey." Kelly said.
"What are you going to do about it?" Alexis asked jokingly.
Kelly raises his eyebrow. Alexis hugs Kelly.
"I'm glad that you're ok." Alexis said.
"I don't plan on leaving you." Kelly said.
"I don't think I can lose anyone else." Alexis said.
"And you won't. At least not as right now." Kelly said.
"Thank you for always being there for me." Alexis said.
"I have someone to tease. So thank you." Kelly said.
"Jerk." Alexis said.
Kelly fakes being offended. Alexis laughs already knowing that he's faking. Kelly smiles.

I love Alexis and Kelly's friendship so much.  I may or not be planning something in the near future.
