Chapter Twelve

"Looks like I'm riding with you." Alexis said.
"Thank the lords." Brett said hugging her.
Alexis smiles.
"And you can see lover boy." Kelly said.
"You shush it." Alexis said.
Ambulance 61, person down for unknown causes, be aware police are on the scene.
Brett starts driving.
"So who's this lover boy that Severide's been teasing you about?" Brett asked.
Alexis smiles.
"The guy?" Brett asked.
"He may or may not work at Med." Alexis said.
"Will?" Brett asked.
Alexis almost throws up.
"Nasty!" Alexis shouts.
Brett laughs.
"That is just gross." Alexis said.
"Ethan?" Brett asked.
Alexis keeps a straight face.
"Marcel?" Brett asked.
Alexis keeps a straight face.
"Connor Rhodes." Brett said.
Alexis smiles a little.
They get to the call.
"Wh..." Alexis said as she sees cops all around.
Adam opens Alexis's door.
"It's Jay." Adam said.
They get the stuff they need and run to Jay.
"Halstead, are you with us?" Brett asked.
Jay struggles to breathe. '
"Jay, calm down. Brett needs to intubate." Alexis said.
Jay goes unconscious. They get Med.
"Morg, what happened?" Will asked.
"He was beaten and shot. I have my finger in the hole. It hit an artery." Alexis said.
"Rhodes!" Will yelled.
Connor runs over.
"Bring him to the Hybrid." Connor said.
"Guess I'm coming." Alexis said.
"Always getting in trouble." Connor said.
They get a call.
"Damn it." Alexis said.
"When I tell you to remove your finger, remove it." Connor said.
Alexis looks at him.
"Remove." Connor said.
Alexis takes out her finger out.
"Get the team now." Connor said.
"Update me." Alexis said.
"Morg." Brett said.
