I kill as many as I can with my knife saving my ammo for when I desperately need it. I see the others drive off towards the barn to kill more before they get further on the land. Lori, Carol, Beth and Patricia are all still in the house looking for Carl. I pause for a second looking at the now on fire barn and appreciate the light.

I hear more shots come from behind me and see Hershel with his shot gun. I look around and pull out my gun shooting the ones that are getting to close to me. I've lost sight of the others and lost the sound off cars. I turn my head a little to see Andrea go down. I run to help her but at the same time a hand is placed on my shoulder and I fall down.

I land with pain shooting through my side. I roll over and see the walker that took me down rolling off of me. I stab it in the head. By now Andrea is gone. I don't know if she was eaten or in the end okay. My flight instinct kicks in as I realize that there's no saving this place. I don't see anyone and l'm all alone. I sprint back towards the house and grab as many bags as I can. I make two trips in and out getting just about everything medical or personal we left behind. I throw them in my passenger side and start my jeep. The sound being music to my ears.

'Head to the highway' I think. I am greeted at the end of the very long driveway by T-dogs truck. I can only hope that everyone made it off okay.

While driving I let out a few tears. Thoughts of who I might have just lost hurts. Carl...I just lost Carl.

We reach the highway at the break of dawn looking to be the first ones there. I pull my car up on the outskirts of the car graveyard and step out. Lori and Beth and T-dog all come out of the blue truck.

"What do we do?" Lori questions. "We have to wait, if the others made it out we come here, that was the plan." It was the first time that I didn't know what to do. "What if another herd passes?" Lori puts out. "Then we stay in our cars or go underneath them. It worked the last time." I spit cold heartily. Just then the red and white car that brought Randall to camp pulled up.

"Mom!" I hear a small voice calls. I take my back off the side of my jeep hearing his voice. He hugs his mom then runs to me as soon as he can. I bend down and he crashes into me so hard that I fall back on to the pavement lightly. In the background I hear the sound of two more vehicles pulling up. I roll Carl around other the ground until we are laughing and getting strange looks from the group.

We stand up and give smiles throughout the group being happy that we are alive.

"Where'd you find everyone?" Rick asked Daryl. "Well, those guys tail lights zig-zaging all over the road. I figured it had to be an Asian. Especially driving like that." Daryl tells. "Where's the rest of us?" He asks. "We're the only ones who've made it so far." Rick says. "I saw Andrea go down." I finally speak.

"Shane?" The silence is evidence enough to know that he wasn't here. Turns out Rick knew what Shane was finally up to.

"Patricia?" Beth looks at her dad. "Taken out of my hands..What about Jimmy? Did you see him?"  Beth cry's softly. "He was in the RV. It got overrun." Rick answers. "You defiantly saw Andrea?" Carol walks towards me. "Yeah, she was 20 feet from me." I remember it clearly. "I'll go back." Daryl offers. "No."

"We can't just leave her." I walk closer. " She's not there even if she was she'd be gone by now." I say. "So we aren't even going to keep looking?" Glenn asked. "We can't, walkers are crawling all around here." Rick says while a lonely one starts to approach.

"Let's head east.", "Stay off the main roads. The bigger the road the more the walkers like this one. I got it!" Daryl goes to shoot his crossbow but I throw my hunting knife at it. Hitting it dead between the eyes. "I said I had it." He growls. "Too slow." I say triumphant. "Bitch." I hear mumble. I turn and put my jacket in my jeep becoming a little to hot. When I turn back my eyes meet worried ones from everyone.
