You know it. I know it. This is an excuse to share my favorite songs.

Roman POV:

I was so exited! It was the best day of the week! It. Was. Friday!!!

Now I know your asking "Roman what's so special about Friday?" Friday in the mindscape is not only the last day of a school week but is also karaoke night!

As the prince it is quite obvious that karaoke night is my favorite night of the week. I mean I get to sing my favorite songs in front of everyone. Its the best! Who wouldn't love doing that?

All I had to do was wait till 8 pm. Which was hard considering that it was only 5 pm.

I decided to practice my vocals in the mean time. I had nothing better to do. I started to sing.

Virgil POV:

"How does a bastard, orphan son of a whore
And a Scotsman, dropped in the middle of a forgotten spot in the Caribbean
By providence, impoverished, in squalor, grow up to be a hero and a scholar?"

Virgil looked up from his sketch book. Those were the lyrics to Alexander Hamilton. But who was singing them?

"The 10 dollar
Founding father without a father
Got a lot farther by working a lot harder, by being a lot smarter
By being a self-starter, by 14 they placed him in charge of a trading charter"

Virgil got up from his desk to investigate the singing. Who was singing? They had a beautiful voice the wall mumbled it though so he couldn't place his finger on it.

"And everyday while slaves were being slaughtered and carted away
Across the waves, he struggled and kept his guard up
Inside he was longing for something to be a part of
The brother was ready to beg, steal, borrow or barter"

Virgil opened his door and started to walk in the direction of the voice.

"Then a hurricane came, and devastation reigned
Our man saw his future drip, dripping down the drain
Put a pencil to his temple, connected it to his brain
And he wrote his first refrain, a testament to his pain"

Virgil started humming the lyrics as he closed his eyes and walked to the voices door.

"Well the word got around, they said
'This kid is insane, man!'
Took up a collection just to send him to the mainland
'Get your education, don't forget from whence you came
And the world's gonna know your name. What's your name man?'"

Virgil opened Roman's door at that part and sung the next lyrics.

"Alexander Hamilton"

Roman spun in his chair and stared at Virgil in awe. He smiled and nodded as if telling him to continue. Virgil smiled back and opened his mouth to song the rest of Alexander's part.

"My name is Alexander Hamilton
And there's a million thing I haven't done
But just you wait, just you wait"

Roman sung the part that wasn't Alexander's.

"When he was 10, his father split, full of it, debt ridden
2 years later, see Alex and his mother bed-ridden
Half-dead, sitting in their own sick, the scent thick"

They decided to sing the female and multiple people parts together.

"And Alex got better but his mother went quick"

Roman sung the next part.

"Moved in with a cousin, the cousin committed suicide
Left him with nothing but ruined pride, something new inside
A voice saying, 'Alex you gotta fend for yourself'
He started retreating and reading every treatise on the shelf"
