Heart Problem
Nang bumaba kami sa hapag ni Gad, Van and Nadia were sitting already and waiting for us. Van smiled at me widely.
"Ang sarap ng tulog mo kanina, hindi na kita ginising." Van said. Gad silently pull a chair for me, and my stupid heart jump a bit.
Swear, there must be a problem in my heart.
"Hi Aho!" I smiled back to Nadia who's cheerfully seated near Van. Gad seated besides me then give me rice.
"You'll sleep over?" Tanong ni Van.
I saw how Nadia's smile slightly faded, I smirked on my mind.
"Yes." Simpleng saad ko habang pinapanood si Gad na naglalagay ng pagkain sa plato ko. "That's enough, I'm on diet." I said, but I only said that because we'll be drinking tonight and I dont like belly fat.
Tumingin muna sa akin si Gad bago nya binaba ang pinggang.
We ate silently, minsan nagk-kwento si Nadia, they would laugh. I just smile, it aint funny anyway, at least for me.
When we were done eating Nadia suggested that she'll do the dishes. Why would she do that if she can see that these boys have househelps, napairap ako. And Van did not let her, of course he should not its her girlfriend and it's Van's house so..
"I'll just take Nadia home." Saad ni Van. I'll be back quickly, may ipapabili ka ba?" Tanong ni Van sa akin.
I saw how Nadia lose her appetite on things. Napangisi ako. Is she jealous?
"Nothing, just come home quickly. We should catch up." I said with a sweet woman tone.
I dont know, I just feel that I like Nadia getting jealous. I like how she reacts.
"Okay." Saad nya at inalalayan si Nadia paalis.
"Take care!" I shouted when they were out of the house. I smiled evily pero natigil ito ng humarap ako kay Gad. Nakakunot noo sya habang nakaupo sa gilid ng sofa at nakalagay ang dalawang kamay sa loob ng bulsa.
Oh! He looks like a model, and he's modeling the sofa. God Gad!
"What's with the smile Ahonoama?" I pouted to hide a smile.
Why does he looks handsome today?
"Nothing, mauna ka na sa taas. Finish your school works I'm just wait for Van and we'll talk a little before going to bed." Mahabang saad ko pero inirapan lang ako ni Gad bago magsalita.
"I'm finish with my school works." Saad nya. "I'm gonna stay here and watch you flirt with my brother." Nanlaki ang mata ko.
He doesn't sound serious but he doesn't sound joking either. What the hell?
"I ain't flirting with Van." Saad ko.
"You are." Mariing saad nya.
"I'm not, for God's sake!" Tanggol ko sa sarili ko.
I like Van, but I never-ever tried to flirt with him. It's just our simple gestures with each other.
Niliitan ako ng mata ni Gad bago tumayo.
"Really?" Tanong nya with full sarcasm.
"Yes really!" Taas noo kong sabi.
Lumapit sya sa akin but I did not let that happen.
"Then dont wait for him tonight, let's just drink in my room." Huling mga sinabi nya at medyo himinahon, kaysa sa tono kanina na sarkastiko. "Just you and me, no Van or anyone that can ruin my mood."
Napakurap ako, lumunok ako at umiwas ng tingin. Umatras ako at napahawak sa dibdib, it's beating faster and faster as if it's going to explode.
"G-gad, I-i think I h-have a h-heart problem." Utal-utal na saad ko. Pero imbis na magaalala ay ngumisi lang sya. I can see how amused he is.
"That's good baby."
