"Its been a long time since we drink." Mahinang saad ko. Napatingin naman sya sa akin. "You know, I f-forgot what it taste like." Umiwas ako ng tingin. He drove without speaking like he's thinking. "Can we?" Tanong ko sa mas mahinang boses pero sapat lang para marinig nya.

I suddenly felt like drinking without a reason. Wala namang dapat dahilan kung gusto mong uminom hindi ba?

"Are you sure?" Tanong nya. "Mainit, ngayon--"

I cut him off. "Doon naman tayo ulit sa kwarto mo e. You just have to turn on the aircon you know." Saad ko. "And I'll call mom now." Saad ko at ginawa ang gusto. Napailing nalang sya at nagpark sa isang convinient store.

"Wag kang makulit. Kapag lumabas ka sa sasakyan ko hindi tayo iinom." Banta nya sa akin na parang bata, mabuti nalang ay hindi pa nasasagot ni Mommy ang tawag. Sinagot lang ito ng saktong isinarado ni Gad ang pinto ng sasakyan.

"Hey mom!" Masiglang bati ko. Actually I'm alone in our house right now cause there's a problem on our business in other country.

"H-hey." Suminghot si mommy. Is't snowing in California right now?

Well it maybe cold there, christmas season is coming. Napangiti ako, what will I receive as a present? Where will we spend our vacation?

"Im going to Romano's State and maybe sleep over there?" Nangiting tanong ko.

"You should h-have decide that before, para hindi na kami nag-aalala n-g daddy mo." Saad nya at suminghot muli. Medyo walang gana ang boses nya, what time in Cali right now?

Did I woke her up?

"S-stay there until next morning, saturday." Saad ni mommy. "We'll pick you up, I'll call your tita and tito." Tumango lang ako. I saw Gad walked out of the store but before he could come to me, a girl made him stop.

"O-okay mom, love you gotta go!" Saad ko.

"Love you too." Saad nya. I ended the call then focus on Gad. They were talking casually until the girl gave her phone to Gad, but he shook his head. The girl smiled sadly. Gad waved his goodbye then left. Sumandal ako ng komportable sa sasakyan nya.

"Here." He gave me a chuckie then place the paper bag on the backseat.

"Your parents at home?" I asked as I sipped on the chocolated drink.

"They'll be home tomorrow morning, they wen't out for their anniversary." Saad nya. Napa-oh ako.

Nang makarating kami sa bahay nya ay dire-diretso ako sa kwarto nya kahit na hindi pa sya nakakalabas sa sasakyan dahil kinukuha nya pa ang pinamili nya. The househelps greeted me politely, I smiled back.

His doors weren't lock so I open it and enter as if I own the place.

"I sudde ly felt so tired." Saad ko at humiga sa kama nya, sakto namang pumasok sya.

"Take a nap first, we'll drink later when you woke up and had our dinner. May tatapusin lang ako." Saad nya at nilagay sa cute na refrigerator sa gilid ng pc nya ang mga bote at tinabi ang ilang pagkain.

Tumango ako at nilubog ang sarili sa kama nya bago kinuha ang phone to make a call.

"Hey Van." Bati ko ng sinagot ni Van ang tawag. I saw how Gad immediately turn his swivel chair at the sa pc which is turning on. "When are you going home?" I asked then turn my back on Gad's deep eyes. "Can you pick up my clothes on your way home?" I asked sweetly. Luckily I texted our househelps to pack my things.

"Sure why not." He laughed. "What are you doing in our house by the way?" He asked.

"Nothing, just bored." Saad ko.

"Okay, okay. What else do you want?" Tanong nya.

Nagisip ako, pero natigil ang pagiisip ko ng hinarangan ni Gad ang paningin ko. Tumingala ako para makita ang iritado nyang mukha.

A stupid seen flashed on my mind so I immediately bid my farewell to Van.

"Im not craving for anything so bye." Saad ko.

"Stay safe Aho, bye." I ended the call.

"H-hi." I even waved my arms pero umupo sya sa harap ko at seryoso paring nakatitig sa akin.

"Take a nap and rest." Bulong nya, mabilis akong napapikit ng halikan nya ang noo ko tsaka tumalikod at binalikan ang computer.
