Chapter 33

Envy

The last message that was sent by Gad kept flashing on my mind. I was thinking of sending him another goodluck assuming that he'll reply with the same emoticon, but I did not text him.

He should focus in his exam. It's his dream school. That is at risk, ayokong magulo sya.

After ng off ng plane nila mommy ay nagpa-drive ako sa driver papunta sa mall. I should clear my mind, stop thinking about Gad like before.

So I went shopping.

After six paper bags of expensive brand I got tired, so I went to a coffee shop. Pumila ako at nagisip ng order.

"Ahonoama?" Napatingin ako sa likod ko ng may tumawag sa akin. I smiled widely.

"Trex!" Bati ko.

"Long time no see Ahonoama!" As if we are close, but I'm friendly and he is, so we're click.

"Busy eh--"

"Oh busy kay Gad." Tumingin sya sa pila at pinausog ako. Hindi na ako nakasagot dahil ako na ang u-order. "You're with someone?" He asked. Umiling ako habang nagbabayad. "Let's chat?" Tumingin ako sa kanya.

"Sure!" I said then took my order. "Let's sit there. I'll wait you there." Saad ko sabay turo sa pandalawahang upuan.

Napatingin naman ako sa driver namin na nakatayo lang sa labas.

I forgot to order something for him.

Tumayo ako at pumila muli, buti nalang ay wala pang tao at nasa likod lang ako ni Trex.

"Oh. I ordered cake, is that okay with you?" Ngumiti ako at tumango.

"I'm just gonna get something for the driver." I said then order Coffee for him.

"I'll wait you at the table nalang." Saad nya dala ang tray ng cake at iced coffee nya. Ngumiti ako at tumango.

Lumabas ako at kinalabit ang driver na bitbit ang pinamili ko.

"Kuya Cris, ito po coffee." I said to a mid 30's driver.

"Thank you ma'am." Saad nya at kinuha ang kape na hindi nahahawakan ang kamay ko.

"I smiled, makikipag-usap lang po ako sa isang friend ko." Tumango lang sya kaya umalis na ako.

Nang umupo ako ay may slice na ng cake sa pwesto ko.

"Hope you like it." Saad ni Trex at humigop na rin sa inumin nya.

"I love cakes." I said honestly.

"Chocolate cake?" I smiled. "Gadeon Romano is spoiling you with chocolates." Ngumiti lang ulit ako.

"I do love chocolates kahit 'di nya ako bilhan!" Tawa ko."Specially chuckie." Sabay taas ko sa inumin ko na chuckie mix.

"No wonder Gad is crazy over you, you're so cute when you laugh." I blushed at his statement, napainom ako sa inumin  ko.

"Trex?!" Sabay kaming napatingin ni Trex sa babae sa gilid ng table namin. "Hey!" Tumayo si Trex at nakipag-beso sa dalaga.

She has a long brown curvy hair with a small pretty face, sexy and feminine.

"Stephanie! How are you?" Nanlaki ang mata ko.

Stephanie?

Gad's rumored girlfriend?

"Busy at school, ikaw?" Napatingin sa akin si Stephanie at napatingin din kay Trex na nay ngisi sa labi.

"Oh! This is Ahonoama a friend." Saad ni Trex.

"A friend?" Ngumisi ito lalo bago tumingin sa akin. "Hi! I'm Stephanie, nice meeting you Ahonoama."

"Hi." Bati ko.

"Did not know you're up to younger girls Trex."

She speaks elegantly, she's pretty, sexy and in legal age. I envy her.
