Madali akong bumaba habang tumatambol ang dibdib.
I almost forget about Gad!
Nang makalabas ako ay nandoon nga sya, standing on his family's SUV surrounded with a lot of men, my fast walk became slow.
I felt afraid, I felt anxious that anytime they might take me back to jail.
My slow walk stopped, unable to move forward or so.
Gad, with is usual face walk towards me instead.
He look at my wrist, nandoon pa rin ang bangle na bigay nya, hindi ko ito matanggal at wala akong balak na tanggalin ito.
Instead of saying a thing he hug me tightly. A tight hug, a really, really tight hug.
Like he knows it is all I need right now.
I hugged him back as I cry in his chest.
"I-i w-was so scared." Like a baby, I said honestly.
"Sush, I'm sorry." Bulong nya hababg hinahaplos ang buhok ko.
"I-i dont know what to d-do anymore. M-mom j-just l-left u-us, were losing o-our wealth a-and n-now." Umiiyak na sumbong ko kay Gad.
"Ssh, everything will be fine, okay?" Inilayo nya ako at hinawakan ang dalawang balikat ko. He look at me straight in the eyes and smiled a bit. "Just trust me this time." He sincerely said.
It's like his words has magic and it brings back my confidence and hope, hope that everything will be back to normal.
"Just wait inside your house, dont ever-ever leave your house without a body guard." Tumango ako. "Just give me time I'll solve this okay?" I only nod with his words.
He hugged me tight again.
"Tinakot mo ako, bigla ka nalang nawala Ahonoama."
I can really feel na mahalaga ako kay Gad.
Gosh I felt at home when I'm with him.
"Let's talk inside the car, malamig dito masyado." He said as he guide me inside the car. Before entering the car, I look at the men around us. They aren't looking at us but I still feel anxious. "Do you feel unconfortable?" He asked. Umiling ako.
He sit besides me. "Come here." He asked me to move closer to him and I did. He hug me while were sitting inside the car.
"I really miss you Ahonoama." He kissed my head. He showered me with kisses above. "Next time pag aalis ka magsasabi ka, hindi yung bigla ka nalang mawawala."
"Im sorry, I-i forgot about everything when I heard what happened to mom." I defended myself.
"Its fine, it's just that sobra akong natakot." Tumango ako. "When I heard about tita's situation, Van and I immediatly bought a ticket for Dubai, but the authority didn't let us flight abroad." I nod again. "You know the case."
We talked all night about things we missed on each other these last weeks, about how he passed the exam and he won't finish the semester and flight to States for his school but it got delayed because of our situation, I felt sad and guilty. He said it's fine, marami namang opportunity na ganon.
"Thank you Gad." I said ng maihatid nya ako sa pintuan ng bagong bahay. It's already 3 in the morning.
"Why thank me, it's unusual. Just go to bed Ahonoama." Pagtatabuyan nya sa akin.
I just laugh a bit. Gosh! How can I laugh at a situation like this?
"Go to bed na Ahonoama, wag makulit."I smiled a move closer to him.
I tiptoed and held his polo's colar. He was stunt by my action that leads him to shockness, unable to move or react. I gave him a soft kiss on lips then move backwards.
"Thanks Gad." I waved. "Good night." I said and rush to the door with face full red.
I smiled when I closed the door slowly.
Umiling ako sa sarili at naglakad na paakyat para matulog.
