Next morning I woke up with a irritating noise.
Nang idilat ko ang mata ko ay cellphone ni Gad ang tumutunog, why the hell this phone is here? Anong oras na ba?
Madilim pa.
I answered the phone eyes close.
"Gad!" Isang matinis na boses ang bumungad sa akin. Napatingin tuloy ako kung sino ang tumawag, bigla akong nagising ng makitang si Athena ang nakalagay sa screen. Tumaas ang kilay ko at pinakinggan sya.
Why the hell would she call Gad in the middle of dawn?
"Hey, it's me Athena." She sounds like she's nervous on something. "I'm infront of your house." Mabilis akong napabalikwas at sumilip sa bintana ni Gad and there she is with a sexy dress, mukhang kagagaling nya lang sa isang party.
"What are you doing here?" Maarteng tanong ko. Natigilan naman sya at tiningnan ang phone nya, maybe to check if she dialed the right number. "Why are you infront of Gad's house Athena?"
"W-who's this?" Hindi ako kumibo. "A-ate Stef?" I stopped, my heart storms in nervous.
Stef?
Who the hell is Stef.
"Why do you have Gad's phone Stephanie?" Tumigas ang boses nya. Tila tumapang.
"I'm not Stephanie." Saad ko. Natigil naman sya. "It's me Ahonoama." Mahinang saad ko, nawalan ng gana.
Who the hell is Stephanie?
Gad's girlfriend?
For God's sake! Meron syang girlfriend?
Napaupo ako sa sofa na malapit sa bintana nya.
"Oh." She laughed a bit. "I thought you were that bitch Stef!" Tumawa sya, tila gumaan ang loob. "Where's your kuya Gad?" Hindi ako kumibo.
"Stop calling him in the middle of dawn, you're not the girlfriend or whatever." I said, medyo inis. "He's not my brother, stop saying na kuya ko sya, we're not relatives!" Naiinis na saad ko. Tumatatawa lang sya.
"Chill kid." She said annoying me.
"And I'm not a kid, stop annoying me." I said irritatedly.
"Okay, Gad's sissy!"
"Stop or I'm gonna slash your neck and bath you with blood of your own!" Inis na ssigaw ko.
It doesn't make any sense.
"Chill!" The backround laughed. Tumingin ako sa bintana, she's with her friends.
Naiinis na pinatay ko ang tawag, I took a deep breath. Nalanghap ko ang amoy ni Gad na nagbigay ng inis sa akin.
Sa sobrang inis ko at lumabas ako sa kwarto nya at lilipat sana sa guest room kung saan ako laging natutulog ng makita sya roon na mahimbing na ang tulog.
Napairap nalang ako at dumiretso sa kwarto ni Van, he won't get mad if I sleep with him, right?
He treat me as a younger sis and we do sleep together since forever, so I think it'll be fine.
I smiled when I saw Van is tightly asleep.
Umupo ako sa tabi nya, he move a bit but did not wake up. Dahan-dahan akong humiga sa kama nya nagkumot.
Bat kasi wala syang sofa tulad ng kay Gad?
Sa inis ko ay hindi ko namalayang humimbing na pala ang tulog ko.
I just woke up with a little chuckle I heard.
When I open my eyes it was Van who's laughing at me.
"Good morning Aho!" He kissed my forehead kaya napapikit ako.
I was about to say my morning greeting when the door opens.
"Surprise Happy Monthsary.." The energetic voice slowly faded.
I was in shocked, both Van and me were in shocked.
"Vandam." Nadia laugh with tears in her eyes. Van quickly jump to Nadia and hug her, but Nadia can't move or anything with shock .Same with me.
I know what's happening, I know what will happen next.
"What are you doing with A-aho?" Naiiyak na tanong nya sabay ang nandidiri at mapanghusgang tingin sa akin.
A tear formed in my eyes.
I know what's gonna happen next.
"Ahonoama." I saw Gad enter the room, he quickly walk to me.
He's eyes is shouting nothing but coldness. It made me sad.
Is he also disgusted?
I did nothing wrong!
Van and I did nothing wrong.
My tears fell.
"Listen Nadia--" A hard hand landed on Van's pale face.
Before I could see Van, Nadia ran towards me with so much disgust and anger in her eyes.
"Nakakadiri kang babae ka, simpleng kapatid?" Humarang si Gad sa harap ko. Hinawakan naman ni Van si Nadia. "Tama nga si Athena, you little bitch. Trying to hit two birds in one stone?"
"I-i did n-nothing wrong." Umiiyak na saad ko.
"Fool someone else bitch."
Napapikit ako ng mariin, I dont deserve those words. I did nothing wrong.
Why is she making me feel like I did something wrong?
