I went home when the sun set, sakto namang nagtext si Gad.
Gad:
How's your day Ahonoama? I'm done with the exam. Can I come to your house?
Nasamid ako sa iniinom kong tubig nang nabasa ang text message nya. Nagmadali tuloy ang katulong papunta sa akin.
"Okay lang po kayo ma'am?" Tanong nito, tumango lang ako at nag-isip ng ir-reply kay Gad.
I replied:
Why?
Seconds later he replied faster than I thought.
Gad:
I bought boquet of roses, just because we didn't see each other today doesn't mean I have an excuse not to give you flowers.
His words are so flawless, can make any woman fall for him. I bit my lower lip.
Is this for real?
Is he really serious about me?
Or really, really just bored?
Gosh I hate my mindset. I should think in positive way.
So I think Gad is into me.

I smiled and went upstairs to do my night routine and welcome Gad when he comes.
Sakto ng matapos ako ay may nag-door bell na. I look at the mirror for the last time before going down.
My smile became wider when I saw clean and proper Gad sitting in our sofa, holding a boquet of roses. Of course, for me.
"You going to bed?" Malambing na tanong nya.
Tumango ako lahit hindi naman. I should act normal.
"Did I interrup you?" Umupo ako sa kaharap na single sofa bago sumagot.
"Hindi naman, nag-dinner ka na ba?" I sound too sweet.
Gosh, I'm being obvious!
"We'll have family dinner at home. Ikaw ba?" Tanong nya sabay tingin sa kitchen.
"Im on diet." Mabilis na bumalik ang tingin nya sa akin.
"Is it because im teasing you?" Mabilis akong umiling at tumingin sa bulaklak sa kandungan nya, napansin naman nya iyon ay mabilis na iniabot sa akin. Dinampot nya rin ang paper bag sa tabi nya. "I almost forgot, here's my advance christmas present for you." Napataas ang kilay ko namg abutan nya ako ng paper bag.

Oh Gosh! It's almost christmas na!
Time is really running fast.
We haven't even plan our family vacation!
"Napadaan pa kasi kami nila Van sa Tagaytay and Batangas." Namg buksan ko ang laman ng paper bag ay may handmade na box. Nang buksan ko ang box ay namamgha ako.
It is not branded as how I like jewelries but this handmade bracelet made my heart melt.
"Its not expensive like necklace and bracelet you uses so if you don't like it, you can say it." Napatingin ako kay Gad.
This is going to be the best gift for this coming christmas. I know it!
"Can you put it on my hand?" I sweetly asked.
He looks amused as he took the handmade bracelet made of wood. Actually it is a bangle that has little roses sculpted in it and its like boquet of roses but bangled style.
Gosh I love it.
"Thank you!" I said. He just smiled at me.
"Dont you dare remove that Ahonoama."
