Luxurious Hiding
Im busy with my cake when Bianca enters the kitchen, her eyes were red, seems like she cried a lot.
I sanitized my hand before going to her and comfort her.
"What happened?" I asked my cousin.
"Si Jacob kasi, nambabae na naman. Nahuli ko sila!" I hugged her as soon as I heard the news.
"That asshole!" I said and calm her down in my office. Nagkwento sya at nakinig ako, sa taggal naming magkasama, sa isat-isa na kami nagk-kwento. Naging matalik na kaibigan ko ang pinsan kong babae.
Ang saya ng pakiramdam na mag-karoon ng totoong kaibigan na babae, hindi ko pa ito nararasanan noon.
"I think you should slap him instead of crying here, he deserves a slap not a tears from you." I said. "And matatapos na ang renovation ng resort mo, you should relax and focus. Magiging busy tayo pareho." I said.
I rented a place in her hotel and resort for my pastry and coffee shop, malapit na ang bakasyon at dadagsa na ang mga turista sa probinsya.
She wiped her tears away, Bianca looks soft outside but she is still soft inside.
She's like the softer version of me before.
I stood up, hinatid ko sya sa sasakyan nya.
"Let's have dinner later, promise I wont be late!" She said, I just laughed and let her in her car.
"Drive safety, take a rest." I said and watch the car away.
Nang bumalik ako sa cafe shop ko ay mas nadagdagan ang tao kaya naman mabilis akong tumulong sa kusina.
I only have one baker and barista which is also in the counter, pag maraming tao ay tumutulong ako sa counter at nagf-focus si Drew sa pagb-barista nya, I aso have one waiter who cleans the table, which is Issel.
Were kind of small in staffs but it's fine, hindi naman ganon ka-busy ng shop lalo na't puro studyante lang ang bumibisita. Siguro sa bakasyon, ang mga dadalaw sa bayan ay mapapadaan dito, like last year?
I finish a avocado cake roll so I placed it on the display area. I finish my day and close the shop at 9:00, kapag naman may pupuntahan ako ay hahayan ko na si Drew na magsara ng shop tulad ngayon na may dinner sa mansion.
I drive home earlier, and when I arrive home they were busy gossiping about our neighbors, Tita Annitha, mama and manang.
"I'm home!" I said. Then make mano to mama ang manang, I kissed auntie Annitha on cheeks, this is like my routine after a long tiring day.
"Ang aga mo ata apo?" Tanong ni mama.
"Bianca said she'll prepare dinner." I said.
Kumunot ang noo ni Auntie.
"Nag-break na naman ba sila ni Jacob?" Hindi ako kumibo at nagkibit balikat lang.
"Oh sya magbihis ka na, may pinadala na namang kahon ang attorney ng daddy mo." Nagpaalam ako at nagpatuloy na sila sa pagk-kwentuhan.
Nang maka-akyat ako ay naabutan ko ang isang box sa kwarto ko, parang balik bayan box. I always receive stuffs like this once in a month, it's from dad. He visited me once, in my 18th birthday, he said that I can't go back yet.
I manage to place the box inside my room. I took my clothes off and ready to take a bath. For all I know it'll be all luxurious clothes and shoes that I can't always wear in this province. They'll all gossip me about wearing revealing clothes. Duh, I didn't choose the design, but still--still luxurious!
And yes, I'm living a luxurios life-- I mean luxurious hiding life without knowing the wealth status of dad and how he manage to give me this stuffs.
I think were not that poor huh?
