Apo
We arrived at a old mansion, not big like ours before but it's like a antique house.
"Dito po nakatira ang Lola nyo, dito muna kayo pansamantala ma'am." I did not speak or anything. I just look at the old mansion.
It's like they renovated the house long-long time ago.
While looking around still not in myself, I saw a lady maybe older than me?
She raise her thick brows before walking towards us.
She look at me from head to toe.
"Sino po sila?" She asked.
"Asan si Donya Annie pate?" The guard asked. The lady's eyes drifted to my bodyguard.
"Bakit nyo po hinahanap ang lola ko?"
She asked full of curiosity.
"Kung nandyan sya pakisabi nandito ang anak ni Anthonio--"
"Anthonio Cuenco?" She asked my father's name.
"Oo, pakisabi." The lady look at me before turning her back.
When she came back she's with a old lady and a woman who's age is just like my late mother.
Oh gosh I missed her.
"A-apo?" The old lady asked me, I tried to smile but I can't. My mind is still blank and unable to think. "Ahonoama? Anak ni Anthonio ko?" The bodyguard answer all of their question. Dad called to talk to them and ask me if everything is fine.
Ofcourse, I did not answer. I can't.
The moon showed up and my bodyguard had to leave, he made me shut down my social media's and stuff that will make me connect to the media and authority.
"Sundan mo ako hija, dito ang magiging kwarto mo." Nakangiting saad ng matanda.
I smiled a bit trying to say my first word for her.
"T-thank you--uh?"
"I want you to call me mama."
"Thank you mama." She smiled like her heart softed because of me.
She walked me into a room, not huge as mine before, but good quality. Mamimili pa ba ako?
"Magpahinga ka na, naging mahaba ang byahe nyo." Tumango ako. "May shower diyan sa kwarto mo, kwarto dati ng daddy mo iyan eh." Kwento nya. "Oh sya, bukas na tayo magkwentuhan at alam kong pagod ka." Tumango ako, isasara ko na sana ang pinto ng mabilis nya akong halikan sa noo. "Kamukha mo ang mommy mo apo." Napakagat ako ng labi. "Pasensya na kung hindi kami nakakadalaw." I just nod. "Good night apo." She said sweetly as she closed the room door.
I smiled genuinely, I suddenly felt like I have a mother again.
Gosh! I really miss mom.
Sa pagiisip ko at nagpahulog ako sa malaki at malambot na kama.
Is dad fine there?
Mali ba ang desisyon ko na iwan sya?
Gad!
What if Gad will look for me?
I should have said goodbye and tell him that I'll have vacation, at least.
Baka magalala iyon.
I pouted. I can't even contact him!
I held my wrist which has the bangle he gave me.
I miss him so much.
