I was about to turn away when I saw a girl approach Elsa. I decided to stay behind a corner. If she needed me, I would be there.

"Hey Elsa." I heard the girl say. I saw Elsa sigh and turn around to speak to her.

"Yes?"

"I just wanted to say, great job, you've made the Royals jelous." She was about to say something else but her face was filled with shock when three figures came behind Elsa. The Royals. The girl ran away while Elsa was left to face the Royals.

I didn't want them to see me, so I just hid in the shadows. I had learnt how to do that after Pitch had-

A/N JACK! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY? STOP RUINING THE STORY!!!!

They already know.

I wanted to move from my hiding place. Defend her. But I was frozen. Litteraly, I was so scared for Elsa I froze myself to the floor.

 All I could do was listen.

"Hey Snow Hair." Hic laughed. Oh Hic, what happened to you? You always let Mer or Punzie do the talking.

Elsa tried to walk away but Punzie and Mer weren't done yet.

"Oy, ye can't ignore 'ic like that. We're the Royals." Mer stated.

Elsa just ignore her and pushed past them. Everyone gasped. Me included. No one would do that to a Royal. We must've really p*ssed her off. Anyway, she was unsuccessful in her attempt and was yanked back by her bag by Punzie.

"Don't you dare ignore us again!" She screamed. I felt sorry for Elsa. My ears were hurting and I was all the way over here.

Elsa was about to say something else but she had frozen. She was sad or scared, she was angry. I looked towards the direction she was pointing at and I saw a girl with strawberry blonde hair.

Suddenly, Elsa had slapped the girls' faces and kicked Hic where the sun don't shine. Ouch.

 I saw Elsa running to the girl. She was being pinned up to a locker by a boy. Couldn't see his face though. The boy was yelling at the girl and Elsa had started to conjure up a snow storm. Everyone was distracted by the Royals to notice.

Snow pushed the boy over and I motioned for Elsa to come to me. I was finally able to melt the ice. It took ages since I didn't have my staff.

That was when she spotted me. I motioned her to follow me. She left the girl with Mavis and Astrid and came to my direction. Elsa left the girl with Mavis and Astrid. Then she came to me. There was a look of question on her face.

I told her 5 words that mde her frozen to the spot.

"We're not alone any more."

The Next Day.

After I got up, I went straight to school and to the music rooms to practise a song I had been writing. I grabbed my guitar that replaced the staff in my hands.

"You only need the light when it's burning low,

you only need the sun when it starts to snow, you only know you lover her when you let her go. oh.

You only know you've been high when you're feeling low, you only. Only what?"

This was frustrating. I had been working on the last chorus for ages but couldn't think of the last line.

I heard a creak at the door and saw Elsa. I didn't have the chance to be angry because I was embarrassed. But I still acted angry.

"GET OUT!" I screamed at her hoping she would leave, but she didn't, instead, she sang the tune of my song with the last line I was looking for.

 "you only hate the road when you're missing home." She smiled.

I returned her smile and added part of the last bit, "you only know you love her when you let her go, and now you know."

Finally, it was done, "thank you" I said.

She was about to leave but answered, "no problem."

Before she got the chance to walk out of the door, I had to say something, "Elsa, I'm sorry for what happened yesterday."

Flash Back

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"We're not alone any more." I told her.
Her eyes were glistening. But then doubt clouded her eyes, "Jack what do you mean, you know who I am, I feel more alone then ever, no one understands." I could see tears in her eyes. Oh Elsa, don't cry. I thought.
I could tell it was hard for her to open up to me. But I understand why. I think.
"Wrong. I don't know who you are, but I know you are special. I do know how you feel." I told her. That was the truth. I had been alone. I had told the Royals of my talents, but it's not the same. The longing to find someone like you.
It's now or never Frost I thought to myself.
I opened up my hands and small snowflakes fluttered around my hands. Her eyes shining with tears. And I smiled.
"Jack, are you a dream. Am I going to wake up in my room and find this is some sick joke?" She whispered.
"No Elsa, I am just as real as you. I am just as real as the earth is round." I tried to convince her. And it worked, she smiled with tears slightly sliding down her cheeks.
Eventually, I tried to lean in to kiss her. But she pushed me away. I felt my heart break. I guess she didn't like me the way I loved her. Oops.
It's okay Jack. Just let it out.
"Jack, no, I'm sorry but..." She tried to explain but she couldn't understand. But I did. She thought that I only liked her because of her powers. But that was not true. She was my light in the darkness. The warm in my cold.
"Thank you Jack." She said before walking out of the door. I knew what she was thanking me for. For not letting her be alone. But is it possible that I felt even more alone without her than without my friends?
End Of Flash Back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Jack, do you wanna come to the library with me?" She asked, breaking me out of my flash back. This was awkward. I could tell by the way that she was standing that she had just remembered what happened yesterday.

"Um, sure. I could use a book for studying." I told her.

"Jack, do you want a tutor? " She asked another question. My stomach was doing summer sults inside of me. I wanted to scream yes. But I just said, "yeah sure. Why not?"

I saw a nervous expression grow on her face. "What would the Royals think?"

"It don't matter. I'm still the most popular guy in school, you're fine with me." I reassured her.

She just bodded and we made our way to the library. Something was going to go wrong later. But I was used to ignoring things. Maybe all of this could've been avoided if I had just listened to that gut instinct once.

A/N Hi guys, hope you have enjoyed this chapter. I'm sorry if some bits are not the same as the warm cold, but I have had to change them all to fit Jack's POV. Any ways, thank you so much for the support and I hope you carry on reading.
