The Guardian's Tale (Sequel to the warm cold.)

I love you Elsa Snow.

I asked Elsa to join me and the Royals.  I thought that they could put aside theire differences and become friends but...

I walked into the food hall with Elsa. Everyone was staring. Well of course Jack frost with the most beautiful girl ever. Wait WHAT!

Any way, I spotted the gang sitting at our table. Right in the center of the room. Everyone could see us, I was okay with that but... Elsa was uncomfortable.

I dragged Elsa with me and sat at the table with Elsa at my side.

"So Jack, you brought the newbie and enemy to our table?" Hic asked rhetorically.  Smart ass.

"Yes. Elas is not our enemy and won't be a newbie forever. Any way,  still head of the gang, I decide."

Hic shut his  mouth, but Mer had different plans.

"No Jack. We are a team, you ask us or we decide."

I shut up after that. She was right. I was in the middle of my thoughts when Punzie asked the unthinkable question.

"Elsa, where are your parents? " Punzie asked. I could wring her skinny little neck.

Elsa didn't answer and looked down at the table. Punzie didn't like being ignored and grabbed her hair making Elsa face her.

"Answer Elsa. Or will that make little Elsa cry." Mer said. She mimicked a crying soind with Hic. They are cruel.

"Jack, I don't want to do this, I'm gonna go." Elsa said using a fake smile.

No I couldn't let this happen, but my primal instincts told me a different tale.

"You can't leave. Or are you as weak as they say?" I spoke gesturing to my gang. Punzie had a smirk on her face while Mer and Hic continued to make baby noises. Why am I like this? Is this what fame and love feels like? Being torn apart in two directions?

Jack, you utter utter moron.

Hey I didn't ask for this.

No, but you are like this.

I hadn't realized it when Elsa had gone. Where she was standing,  a small ice patch.

I went back to the gang and told them to meet me after school. They nodded. This was important.  I knew about Elsa, she knew about me. But the others don't. They need to understand, or people might get hurt. More importantly,  Elsa might get hurt.

After Lunch

I spent most of my lesson thinking. But not of the lessons. Of Elsa. Why am I cruel? She put her trust in me. She was alone and afraid. I can only imagaing what Pitch would do if he got his hands on her.

Wait, why am I thinking of Pitch? He has nothing to do with this. Or so I thought.

( After the warm cold bit. So in the present.) He did this to Elsa. Making her think that-

JACK! STOP!

He killed her parents.

JACK! YOU HAVE JUST RUINED IT!

They still don't know how. Strike me down if you wish.

I could. But this is your life Jack. Remember that.

(Back in the past.)

I didn't see Elsa in any of my lessons for the rest of school. Was she bunking off? 

No. Elsa's not a girl to do that. So where was she?

I didn't get a chance to think because the last bell of the school rang and I had to meet the others at the tree for a talk about Elsa.

I got there before my gang and saw Elsa sleeping in our tree. Cute. No! Stop thinking like that Jack.

But you love her.

No I don't.

Any way, I moved her into a more secure and less visible hiding spot so that if she was to wake up, she wouldn't be spotted. Just in time too. The others came from no where.

Before they had a chance to speak, I did.

Me: Guys, the ice, I saw ice but I didn't-

Hic Yeah we know you're specail blah blah blah. 

He interupted me. For the first time in forever. What had happened to him? I didn't get a chance to ask because Mer spoke first. Defending me?

Mer: 'ic, let 'im speak.

Punzie: Yeah, I wanna hear lovely words.

I swear, Punzie was one of those girls you think are cool by looking at them, but are crazy if you know them. I rolled my eyes and struggled, not knowing how to continue.

Me: Well, I can't really tell you that. But maybe Elsa will.

I sopke her name so that she knew I was instructing her to come down the tree. My gang looked around confused. She didn't move, so I figured I had to be more specific.

Me: Elsa, please get down from our hiding spot.

I pleaded. I didn't want to look like a mad man, so eventually, she came down.

When Punzie saw her, she had a look of murder on her face. "You! GET OUT OF HE-"

I cut her off. "Punzie stop!"

She looked around and I just smirked and recited the words I told to anyone.

"Remember, whoever finds the hideout, is a royal."

I looked at her. My eyes gleaming. But her face confused.

Me: Elsa, please.

She shook her head and I sighed, "no Jack I don't wanna be apart of this, I don't want to do this."

She ran away and instinctly, I ran after her. I placed my hand on her shoulder and made her face me.

I looked at her and apolagised.

Then she did the next thing that surprised the hell out of me. She tugged at my head to bring it down, and she placed her lips on mine. Her lips soft and gentle. I then realised that I had just told myself that I loved her, but this time I felt it when I thought the words.

I love you Elsa Snow.
