A great smile spread across my face as I saw Elsa again. Like her old self. Not being controlled, not a ghost that could disappear at any moment. My Elsa. I jumped up and pulled her into a great big hug (A/N Like when Elsa hugs Anna at the end of the movie.) with tears in my eyes. She smiled at me and I leaned in and our lips touched. A tear ran down my cheek as I continued to kiss her. We could've stayed like that for ages, however, we were interrupted by an annoyed cough. That was when I realized Punzie was still with us.
"Sorry to disturb...... This....., but we have a 3rd task to look forward to, so FOCUS!" She shouted the last part to grab our full attention.
I scowled at Punzie but Elsa just nodded her head looking up at me, "it's best we get started."
Punzie just glared daggers at Elsa so I pulled her close to me as a sign of protection. We started to walk west. For a while, we were just walking around, until I noticed a faint arena thing in the distance. I tugged at Elsa's sleeve to ask if she noticed, but the look on her face, I knew she knew what it was.
"The final arena." Elsa whispered.
I knew she looked worried, so I grabbed her hand and placed it mine.
"Are you ready Jack?" Elsa asked me.
"As ready as I'll ever be."
I took a deep breath and continued to walk towards the arena that would seal my fate. Punzie looked angry and Elsa looked like she didn't want to take another step forward. I tightened my grip on her hand and looked at her with a warm smile.
We were nearly to the front door when Manny appeared in front of me.
"You have come a long way Jack. I am glad that you found the book. Adam was a good man, a wise man. Now to leave limbo, you must have trust, but you must also have knowledge. Are you ready my nephew?"
"Yes," the other two looked at me confused, "I'll explain later."
Manny lead us to an empty room with two lanes. One for me, and one for Punzie I believe. I walked towards one of the lanes, as did Punzie, but as I did, an invisible wall blocked me from returning the way I came.
"Rapunzle will tell you a few statements, you must decide whether they are true or false. If you believe they are true, step forward, if you are correct, the ground will stay firm, if you are wrong, you and Elsa will be forced to fall into the pit. Rapunzle will go back to Pitch. If you say false step back, it is the same as if you think it's true. The ground will be firm if you are right, the ground will fall if you are wrong. You need to get to the end of the lane to reach the key."
That was when I noticed a door had suddenly appeared.
"If you get the key, you will open the door to the relm of the living. Your friends will join you there."
I nodded my head to show I understood, so we started.
After a few minutes, I thought I was doing well, until, "Mer still works for us." Punzie spoke.
I knew Mer would never do something like that, so I frowned and shook my head stepping back. Punzie smiled evily. I was confused, but when I realized what it meant, it was too late. The ground started to shake beneath me. I looked to see Elsa afraid with the Earth breaking underneath her. Manny wanted to do something, but he made the deal. He could not interfere. Soon, the ground broke, making me and Elsa fall to be trapped forever.
Pitch would win. I thought and went close to Elsa trying to give us both comfort, because for the first time in a while, there was nothing I could do.
