Y/n's POV-

Emmett and jasper were fighting and yelling about how there girlfriends are better.

This went on for awhile till Carlisle came out of no where and started to try and break it up Edward gave me a kiss on the cheek and joined Carlisle in trying to separate the to men.

I walked closer to them and stood next to the two girls.

"Look at my man go" Rosalie said with a grin on her face.

"Oh come on you've got to admit jaspers got some moves" Alice said smiling sweetly.

"Ok he's good but definitely not Emmett good" Rosalie states.

"What do you think y/n who's the better fighter Jasper or Emmett?" Rosalie asked.

"Edward" I answered simply smiling as Edward jumped between his two frighting brothers.

Both the girls shook their heads but smiled.

Edward and Carlisle split them up.

"Now what the problem here?" Carlisle asked.

"Emmett and jasper made a bet on who's girlfriend was right jasper won and Emmett won't pay up and during the fight they were telling about who's girlfriend was better and both of you's are wrong because my girlfriend is the best" Edward said shooting me a grin which I returned.

"Dude I thought you and Bella broke up?" Emmett said giving Edward a weird look.

"What?" Edward asked confused.

"Bella you know a few days ago you and Bella broke up, Bella the girl we spent most of last year risking our lives to protect, the girl you were madly in love with, am I the only one that remembers her? Come on guys the pretty girl that nearly every guy had a crush on last year, wanted to become a vampire but then freaked out and broke up with Edward just before Y/n got here? Guys?" Emmett said confused why nobody was answering him.

Alice had a death glare on trying to get Emmett to stop talking, Rosalie had her eyes closed with a pained look on her face, Carlisle was staring at me trying to talk to me with my power that I refused to use, Jasper was trying to calm me down from a far but it wasn't working, then my eyes fell to Edward who was looking at me with a scared expression.

I stood there upset knowing that if I could cry I would be.

I needed to be away from everyone.

I turned around and ran knowing it would be faster than a car.

I ran not knowing where I was going. 

I just needed to be away from them all.

After a bit of running I claps to the floor as the thoughts crowded my mind.

Y/n he didn't know you were alive still.

He does still care for you otherwise he wouldn't of been so calm finding out you were lying to him.

I know it stupid to be upset. But... what happens if he's not over Bella.

She's the one who broke up with him. 

Meaning he still liked her.

And she didn't.

Am I a rebound?

No he's my mate.

And I'm his mate that how it works... right?

I'm taken from my over reactive thought by a stick snapping behind me.

"What do you want Rosalie?" I asked not looking away from what's in front of me.

"I'm sorry about Emmett he isn't the smartest out of us I must emit, and he doesn't often keep up with family drama well" Rosalie apologised.

"It's fine really I just need time to think" I said looking forward still.

I heard the leafs next to me get crushed and I turn to see the perfect Rosalie Hale take a seat on the ground.

"You know Edward can read your mind right?" Rosalie asked with a smirk.

"Of course" I said looking down.

"So you know he could hear what you were think when you ran away" Rosalie said the realisation hit me like a train.

"Did he follow me?" I asked.

"Yes, but I said I'll go and try and talk you into coming back" Rosalie said knowing I can read her mind.

"I don't want to see him right now" I said loud enough for him to hear but quiet enough so wasn't shouting glad about the vampire hearing.

"You don't have to just come back with me and we'll sit in Emmetts and mines room?" Rosalie offered.

"I don't want to impose" I stated.

"You won't be Emmett won't be coming near me for the the next few days and I need a friend to hang out with so what do you say? Come and hang out with Alice and I?" Rosalie said with a hopeful smile.

"Ok" I getting of the ground at the same time a her. We walked back to the house passing Edward on the way back he had a sad look if his face but I could tell he heard everything we said and everything we were thinking.

We got the house and Rosalie guided me up the stairs to her and Emmetts room.

When we entered Alice was already there smiling at me.

She danced over to me and gave me a hug.

"This will all work out I promise" Alice said smiling.

"I know it will I'm just over reacting" I said pulling away from Alice's hug.

Rosalie put her arm around me and led me over to two black couches that look really fancy.

We all sat down Rosalie next to me and Alice in front.

"You know you haven't over reacted you reacted perfectly normal for what you just found out" Rosalie said smiling.

"Can you answer me a question"

"Of course" Rosalie and Alice said in unison.

"Did he actually like Bella?" I asked needing answers.

"I don't know, if it helps I never liked her" Rosalie stated.

"No he didn't he was using her as a distraction" Alice said in her usual breezy voice.

"Distraction from what?" I asked.

"You of course" Alice answered.

"Really?" I asked not sure.

"Yes he loves you so much even if he thought you were dead, he used Bella to distract himself from the thought of you" Alice said.

Making my heart ache.

Edward if your listening come find me. I thought getting up and opening the widow of Rosalie's room.

"I'll see you girls later" I said jumping out.

I started running.

I ran until I came a cross a clearing.

I ran right to the middle of the clearing and sat down.

I let my thoughts consume me as I waited to see if Edward had heard my thoughts.

All I could think of was Edward.

How he has thought of me for that long and never fell for anyone else.

How even with everything that's happened to him he still stuck with the the girl he assumed to be dead all these years.
