Is success losing yourself to gain wealth or knocking someone down to climb the top? The colonization of America was just like this. Pilgrims come to the new world for a better life to freely practice their beliefs. I do no believe that rape and oppression is what they wanted to practice. Therefore, they lost themselves in wanting to go to the top and ultimately paid the price.
American colonized history is described by the losers and they take full responsibility in excluding native american history.
