Chapter 8

I made my way back to the cabin as fast as I can. When I got there I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror.

I killed someone..

I am a killer...

No, this can't be happening!

I can't go to jail.. I can't. I have to change my appearance..

I grabbed the scissors and washed them off. I cut my hair choppy and a big difference from my really long hair.
I grabbed the hair dye and used it. After a half an hour I looked back in the mirror.

I ran around the house and I couldn't find Julianne. I practically ran is circles, until I have up and collapsed onto a sofa. I guess I'll go see Mathew.

I got to the coffee shop and he was still there. I walked up to him. "Umm Matt? Why are you still here" he turned around and he looked confused. "Do I know you?" He asked. I smiled, this is great! No one can really recognize me anymore. "It's me, Skylar" I said. He looked at me up and down. "Why did you change yourself?" He asked. "I can't be seen as Skylar anymore."
"Then who are you?" He asked. I thought about it.. Who am I? "Riley Hayes" I answered. I liked that name and now it's my new identity, I can start all over..
No more Skylar Danielle Warren.
I am Riley Hayes.

I went back to the cabin. I had to pack my stuff, I decided to start over and live with my brother. I went into the bedroom and I took a nap.

I woke up around 9:00 am. Crap! I overslept. I grabbed an old duffel bag with my things, that I'm guessing Julianne packed for me when I went missing.

I walked into the porch and saw Julianne just sitting in a chair that I never even noticed. "Where are you going?" She said quietly. It was dark in the room and I couldn't see her face very good. "Julianne where have you been?! I was looking for you and I couldn't find you!" I told her.

"Where are you going?" She asked again but I ignored her.

"Why weren't you here? I thoug-"

"WHERE ARE YOU GOING?" Her voice boomed loud and angry. I walked closer to her and got a better look.
Julianne had cuts all over her, and she had blood oozing out of her eyes.

"J-Julianne?" I stammered and she stood still. With no facial expression. She just stared straight. I brought had up to wipe the blood but before I could she let out a piercing scream that made me fall to the ground. Everything that was glass shattered, windows and vases.

But a lantern on a windowsill shattered and caught the wooden sill on fire. I got up and ran for the door but Julianne blocked my path, screaming louder. I covered my ears trying to block the sound, the door frame caught on fire. I couldn't get past anymore. I went back into the wooden cabin that was burning fast. I tried to find a way out but the fire had already found its way to the windows and doors. I ran upstairs and darted for a bedroom that wasn't burning. I tried opening the only window that Julianne hasn't shattered. It was stuck and wouldn't budge. I grabbed a book and threw it at the window. It completely shattered. I looked down the window and saw a bush outside. I couldn't breathe good, the air was becoming smokey and I had to jump.

I was about to jump when I heard growling. I turned around and saw Julianne, she had ghastly gray skin and arms and leg that were extremely boney and were extended. Her eyes were oozing blood and were completely black. She got down on all four and crawled towards me. I ran to the window and threw myself out. I landed on the bush, that had thorns in it. I groaned, and looked up. Julianne was watching me a left. I'm guessing to come down. I got up and ran to the Forest until I got to town. I looked down my body and I was covered in soot and ashes. I walked down the street. I could still see the glow of light. I heard the sound of screaming and growing and started running , until I got to a 7 Eleven. What just happened?

Julianne has turned into a freaking demon! 0.0 Just try to imagine how she looks and I'll probably add a picture next chapter of how she was supposed to look..
