"Daddy, Daddy, come on!" Felix whined, pulling Hyunjin along as the older male struggled to keep up with his boyfriend. "They'll wun out of couwowin sheets, Daddy!"

"Baby, we could've gotten your colouring book from home if you just let Daddy look," Hyunjin replied, catching up with Felix and pulling him back a little. "But baby was just too impatient and wanted to see Channie, didn't he?"

"Channie texted me Daddy and he said he had a suwpwise for me!" Felix pouted, turning to look at Hyunjin. "And Daddy knows what it is and won't tell me."

Hyunjin cooed, leaning down to kiss the pout off of his baby's lips before running his thumb over Felix's knuckles.

"Neither the surprise nor Channie will suddenly disappear, angel," he smiled at Felix, the two of them walking at a more calm pace now, Hyunjin opening the glass door for Felix when they reached the café.

"Channie!" Felix squealed once the door was open and he could see Chan standing behind the counter.

"Felix, inside voices, sweetheart," Hyunjin tried to remind the little, but Felix was running towards Chan before he got the chance to hear it.

"Hi, honey!" Chan grinned, emerging from behind the counter and picking Felix up when he came running for him. "Remember there are other people here, love, so you can't be so loud."

Felix nodded to Chan's words, covering his mouth as he giggled happily.

"Sometimes I think he loves you more than he loves me," Hyunjin complained as he reached the two.

"No, Daddy! Fewix woves Daddy the most!" Felix immediately whined, reaching out for his caregiver and boyfriend.

Chan chuckled as he handed Felix over to Hyunjin, who took him in lovingly. Felix then pressed a sloppy kiss to Hyunjin's cheek, giggling at the look of mock disgust on Hyunjin's face.

"Fewix thought Daddy wiked it when Wixie got messy!" He exclaimed, and both Hyunjin and Chan were quick to shush him.

"Baby, that's a Felix-Daddy thing - you can't talk about it in public," Hyunjin scolded gently, and Felix pouted.

"Sowwy, Daddy," he apologised, and Hyunjin kissed his forehead.

"You guys go sit down, I'll bring over your usuals," Chan offered, grinning as Felix bounced on Hyunjin's hip excitedly.

"With extwa whipped cweam, Channie?" Felix asked hopefully, pulling his best puppy-dog eyes.

"Only if you say please, Lix," Chan replied, booping his nose softly.

"Pwetty pwease, Channie!" Felix added and Chan chuckled.

"Course, darling."

"Daddy, what's the suwpwise?" Felix asked as he scribbled on his colouring sheet, swinging his legs back and forth under the table.

"Baby will just have to be patient and wait to find out," Hyunjin replied, leaning over the table to kiss Felix's forehead when he pouted.

Not long after, Chan arrived with Hyunjin and Felix's milkshakes and Felix's usual strawberry shortcake, which the little thanked Chan for enthusiastically.

"Channie, pwease tell Wixie what the suwpwise is," Felix begged, still pouting.

"Ok, ok, Lix," Chan relented, sitting down next to Hyunjin. "You remember when you first came to this café? And you were so shy and just stood by the door until I came up to you?"

Felix nodded, feeling his cheeks heat up with embarrassment at the memory.

"There's no need to be embarrassed, sweetheart," Hyunjin reassured, taking one of Felix's tiny hands in his bigger one.

"Not at all, Lix!" Chan shook his head. "You did so well coming in and sitting down and ordering your own milkshake all on your own! If anyone saw you now, Lix, they would never believe you were alone this time last year."

Felix's eyes widened as he realised what Chan was saying and he looked at Hyunjin fearfully.

"I forgot, Daddy, 'm so sowwy!" He near-enough cried, and Hyunjin was quick to shush him.

"It's ok, darling, you're ok," he reassured softly, stroking Felix's hair and cupping his cheeks as tears filled his eyes. "Daddy and Channie just wanted you to know how proud we are of you, baby - that's all."

"We're very proud, Lixie," Chan added. "And we both care about you very much, honey, so always remember that, ok?"

Felix nodded sadly as he made grabby hands for Hyunjin across the table. Chan stood up to allow Hyunjin to shimmy awkwardly out of the booth, sliding in on Felix's side so he could lift his baby into his lap and kiss all over his face.

Soon, Felix was giggling like nothing was wrong, and Chan smiled at the two of them.

"Listen, I gotta get back to work, but you two have an amazing day," he said. "Lix, make sure your daddy treats you well, ok?"

"He always does, Channie!" Felix giggled as Hyunjin pretended to eat his little cheeks.

"Thank you, hyung," Hyunjin spoke up. "For bringing the two of us together."

Chan smiled thoughtfully. "Anything for my best bud and this little cutie."

i'm quite sad to be announcing this but it has to be done, i guess.

i haven't written a one-shot for this book in about a month or two and i'm honestly starting to lose my drive to write more. i think i'm starting to lose interest in most boy groups and k-pop as a whole tbh, and i'm not in the little space community anymore so i don't think i'll be continuing with this book anymore.

don't worry i still have drafts left to post! i have about 12 chapters that i've already written saved and ready to post and i'll still be posting those! but if you request anything i won't be writing it.

i know it's difficult to but please respect my decision to stop writing for this book. i'm just not passionate about it anymore and i know if i forced myself to carry on the quality of updates would decrease a lot.

you guys have been amazing though, and i can't thank you all enough for all of the support you've given me and this book. i hope you all enjoy the last 12 chapters!
