caregivers!changbin + hyunjin

felix gets hurt and just wants his daddies :(

Changbin and Hyunjin had pretty much nailed the whole caregiver thing.

At first, they were like every beginner, but they had put so much effort and time into taking care of Felix that improvement was only natural. And they had been told many times by Felix that they were doing extremely good jobs, and that he had never had caregivers like them before.

So obviously their lives were very cosy, the three of them living together in a small house that was big enough for them. It originally had two bedrooms but the three of them figured that they wouldn't be needing the extra one, and so they converted it into a playroom for Felix even though the youngest had said they didn't need to.

But Changbin and Hyunjin loved him and wanted to spoil him as much as they could. They gave Felix everything he asked for, which wasn't a lot because Felix never asked for anything. Felix already felt like he had everything he needed and would've been happy living in a cardboard box if it was with Changbin and Hyunjin.

"Dada."

Both Hyunjin and Changbin looked up simultaneously, Hyunjin from the kitchen and Changbin from the couch. Hyunjin was working on preparing lunch for the three of them since Changbin made dinner last night and Felix had attempted the night before.

Changbin and Felix were currently in the living room, Changbin lounging on the sofa while Felix sat in front of the TV, blankie in his tiny hands and dummy in his mouth. It was quiet save for Hyunjin humming to himself in the kitchen which was joint to the living room and the sound of the TV.

"Dada!" Felix repeated, bouncing on his little bottom as he looked over at Changbin. His dummy had fallen out but Felix didn't seem to mind, instead going to put the edge of his blanket in his mouth instead.

"Ah-ah, baby," Changbin barely scolded, setting his phone down on the couch as he slid off to kneel next to Felix. "Where did binkie go, Felix?!"

Changbin pretended to be looking around in wonder for Felix's dummy. Felix's mouth opened in a big smile and the biggest giggle escaped from his pretty lips as he attempted to crawl up onto Changbin's lap. He was still holding his blanket so doing so properly was difficult without his little hands to help him up and he ended up stumbling over on his knees and faceplanting onto the carpet.

The carpet wasn't that hard, so Changbin didn't think anything of the minor fall, chuckling as he lifted Felix up with both his muscular arms. He was about to tease harmlessly on how clumsy Felix was when he saw blood on the carpet from where he'd lifted Felix up. It wasn't much, but it was still blood, and Changbin looked from the carpet immediately to Felix's face.

His little nose was red and there was blood trickling from it slowly but definitely there. It was like watching in slow motion as tears filled Felix's eyes and he started crying, his whole face turning red.

"Jinnie, can you get the first aid kit from the bathroom, please?" Changbin asked, eyebrows creased as he cupped Felix's face gently. "Baby, baby, it's ok. You're ok, Lixie, Dada's here."

Felix just continued to cry loudly, wave of tears after wave of tears falling down his face as his nose continued to bleed slowly. Changbin reached over to the armrest of the couch to pull a tissue out of the tissue box and pressed it to Felix's nose gently.
