it's time for the weekly shop, and jeongin is desperate to help.

"Ok, baby, can you find the carrots?" Seungmin asked, looking up from the shopping list in his hands and at Jeongin's eager expression. The younger was practically bouncing on his toes and Seungmin's heart grew fonder of the boy when he saw his eyes light up.

"Yes, Daddy!" He exclaimed, taking off in the direction of the vegetables section and leaving Hyunjin to jog behind him.

It was an early Sunday morning, and their local supermarket was practically empty, so Seungmin and Hyunjin allowed Jeongin to be a bit loud and playful. The only people who shopped here were locals who knew the three of them and were used to Jeongin's behaviour. And Jeongin had really wanted to go out with his caregivers today to help them with the shopping, as he never did so and he was feeling particularly clingy that day.

When Seungmin caught up to his boyfriends, Jeongin's face lit up all over again as he ran over to Seungmin, waving the bag of carrots in his face.

"Daddy, Daddy, I got the cawwots!" He jumped up and down, and Hyunjin placed his hands on Jeongin's waist from behind to calm him down a little.

"Such a good boy!" Seungmin only fueled Jeongin's excitement, something Hyunjin would surely scold him for but he couldn't not add to Jeongin's happiness when he was like this. "Put them in the trolley, doll."

Jeongin did as he was told and dropped the bag in the trolley, bouncing on his toes again as he awaited his next instruction. Seungmin looked down at the list in his hands and saw that everything had been crossed off, so instead he decided to treat Jeongin.

"Looks like we've ran out of items to get, baby," he began, feeling bad for a second when Jeongin pouted. "But since baby was such a good boy, he can get something for himself! Anything baby wants!"

Seungmin would never grow tired of seeing Jeongin's face light up the way it did when he said that. He could practically see the sparkles in Jeongin's eyes as he turned to Hyunjin, a silent way of asking if he really could.

"Go on, baby boy," Hyunjin reassured. "You've been sooooo good!"

"Thank you, thank you, Daddy!" Jeongin squealed before running down the aisle. Hyunjin turned to Seungmin and linked his hand with his boyfriend's, squeezing it.

"You really need to stop spoiling him like that," Hyunjin teased. "He'll start to get the wrong idea."

"Don't act like you don't spoil him when you think I'm not watching."

hope you enjoyed! sorry this one is a bit short! also, i just want to say that i know wjin is still in a lot of chapters and i've said before that i'm working on editing him out. i'm just extremely busy right now with uni and when i'm not working i'm either trying to socialise with my flatmates or i'm sleeping so i really haven't had the time to go through all of the chapters yet.

please if you read a chapter that has him in it, just don't comment about it. seeing comments like 'this didn't age well' or 'i'm just gonna pretend it's ____' are kind of hurtful to me idk why but like i want you guys to be comfortable with what you're reading and what i put out and commenting things like that just brings it to my attention that you're not comfortable and i promise you guys i'm really trying so hard to go through and fix it but it's not just as easy as 'changing his name to someone else's'.

i have to rework dynamics, make sure a member isn't in two places at once, make sure i get all the honourifics and the wording right and it's really tiring to stare at a screen for ages rereading stuff i wrote ages ago. i understand you don't want to see his name or imagine him with the members, and i don't too, but please i'm begging you all to just ignore it. i promise i will get round to editing every chapter with him in it.
