Winter walked into the clearing. It was time.
Winter sang a song to summon Subzero (Kubbi - Hunter). At the last word of the lyrics, a portal appeared. Subzero came out of it.
"Have you decided yet?" asked the cat.
"I have. I want to become the new Subzero."
"Alright then. We'll be singing another song then."
"I'd like that."
"Oh, and you may already know it. I think it's one of your favorites."
They both sang Tip Of The Iceberg. The snow glowed blue as they sang it. Soon bright white flashed the whole place.
"Snow drifts build up and enfold us, as we wait out this winter storm, so we snuggle close in the darkness and keep each other so-o-o warm."
Subzero and Winter were now the same person.
But what the two didn't notice was that someone was nearby. Who could it be but Harmony?
But she was different after the flash of light. She turned into something. She was now a cat like Subzero used to be.
"Harmony. I knew it."
Subzero looked behind the bush where Harmony was hiding.
"I'm sorry you had to end up this way. But I can give you your own world. The only catch is that you'd have to sail away from your family at some point, and you'd have a new identity and no memories of who you were. Either that or you'd get tested by and hunted by scientists."
"...I-I'll take the deal."
"Alright. Be prepared for what's ahead."
(I had to finish up this story kind of early. I wanted to make some other parts, but this story was delayed too long.)
