I may or may not post an Earth Day thing on my youtube channel, so here's a (very sad) Earth Day story. I know, Planethumans isn't very famous because everyone who joins gets depressed due to Earth. It's the same for me, of course (even though I just made a comic about Earth talking with Countryhumans with an actual happy ending instead of this sadness.)

"They can change." -Earth
But can they really?

For about some time, Earth has found a human friend that cares about her. Her name is Sasha, but Earth prefers to call her Sai. Sai showed Earth many things, like a video called "history of the world, i guess". But also at this time, Earth was being hurt by humans, and of course that included Sai. Sai tried her best not to hurt her, though.
Earth remembered a past time:
"Why did your obsession have to be OIL?" Earth asked.
"Well, it gives us lots of money, and it makes cars go!" America answered.
"Why do you all care so much about money? Can't you just care for your family?"
"Can't care for families without it."
Earth remembered another time. Actually, it's still happening.
"Don't worry, Earth! We have it under control. We'll be fine." China tried to calm down Earth.
"A-are you sure? Many of you died already, and I don't want you to be gone."
"Actually, I think they should be gone, because they're hurting you."
"Shut up, sun. Anyway, hope you find the cure!..."
Earth looked away with a sad look on her face.
"...I'll just go." China said.
Earth stopped thinking of the past. They can still change. They will change, right?

"Sai... What's wrong?" Earth asked her best friend.
"I-I feel like this is a bad idea... being here right now..."
"Wh-What? Sai, what do you mean?"
"We're hurting you, and I'm part of the problem..."
"What? No! Sai, you showed me there was at least some good on me. You're my best friend. Plus, they're going to celebrate me on Wednesday."
"No. Earth, you're dying. Admit it. Why do you want to care for us if we're bad for you?"
"Sai, I'm perfectly fine!"
"Why did you even want us in the first place?"
A small silence followed.
"I didn't choose, but if I could, I'd still have you guys. Plus, if you were actually hurting me, which you aren't right now, I'd still keep you because, of course, all the other planets wouldn't want you. I'm like a mother to you all! I'd do anything for you guys!"
"You should have just kept the animals, not us. You would have been happier. Better. Everyone wouldn't think you're hurt. Not Sun, not Moon, no one."
"But then I'd have nobody to talk to."
"You have the other planets."
"But that would get boring."
"Who cares? At least you're not hurting yourself."
"Sai, the others can change. And they won't hurt me soon."
"Say that to America, China, and the many others that are hurting you."
"Sai-"
"I'm done."
Sasha pulled something out of her pocket.
"I-is that a knife?"
"It is. I don't want to be here."
"Sai, no!"
But it was already too late. Sai had stabbed herself.
"SAI DON'T DIE ON ME!" Earth was crying.
"What's going on?" The sun asked Earth.
Earth showed Sun what happened.
"She was my best friend..."
"Aw. I'm sorry, Earth. I think I know how that feels, too."
"But what do I do now? Now it feels like there's no one good left on the planet."
Moon heard the conversation. "But Earth, there are many good people on the planet. There's people recycling and growing trees and removing plastic from the ocean!"
"But it's not everyone."
"Get rid of them!" Mars joined in, too.
"I can't. And I don't want to."
"Earth. I have a question." Moon said. "If you can choose if you would have humans or not, and if you didn't, a different planet would get them, would you have them or not?"
"I would have them. I care about you guys, but I feel like you both are and aren't caring about how I feel."
"Aw." Mars liked that Earth cared about everyone.
"I want to be helpful to everyone, but I can't if nobody's being helpful to me. Be it you guys or the humans or countries and all."
"Well, maybe it's like you said, maybe they can change." Moon said.
"Maybe." Earth said.
And she remembered a quote from the video Sai gave her.
Lets save the world, said everyone, not knowing how.
They want to change. They will.

(I wanna make a meme or something out of this and I found the perfect song. Problem is, I don't know who made it, I only know that the song is on a Steven Universe edit about Peridot and Steven (NOT A SHIP). I actually think the opening from the edit would be good for this.
And now after some stuff it's made by Daughter.)
