We Are Who We Are Chapter 1

That's right, NEW BOOK! (The picture has nothing to do with this, that's just for the last chapter.)

Remember Harmony? She wasn't the only one watching Subzero. Four others were there that night, but for some reason remained unseen by her.  Now that Harmony is Katie, who will these four be?

"This was a mistake." Max said, not even looking at the others. "Now we're these weird things. And if I wanted to be a weird thing, I want to be like you two."
"Hey, at least we're all weird things." Alex explained.
There was some rustling in some bushes.
"I'm not scared." Said Tai. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"
"Fine." A voice said.
The voice sounded like Aiden's. A green figure with a diamond-shaped head and a backpack came out of the bushes.
"Wait, you all were spying on her, too?"
"Don't talk about us." Alex responded quickly. "Why were you spying on Winter?"
"Gotta see if my enemy's gone forever, ya know?"
"Enemy? What's he talking about?" Max asked.
"I bet this is Aiden again." Said Tai.
"Aiden? Aiden T? Can I fight him? I promised her I would."
"Oh, you wanna fight?"
"No." Tai put his hand on Max's chest. "No fighting, water boy."
"Hey, that should be my new name, since I look like a water thing. Waterboi."
"Let me fight him! Even though it's one against three, I can still beat all of you!"
Alex facepalmed. "Tai, let him go."
"But-"
"LET HIM GO!"
As Alex yelled, it felt like there was an earthquake under the four.
"How did I do that?" He asked.
"I don't know, but at least he let me go! Thanks Alex!"
Max ran over to Aiden. He dived to the feet and hit one.
"I have perfect balance, you know. Now, It's my turn."
Aiden tried to punch Max while he was on the floor, but when Max tried to block it with his hand, he shot water out of it.
"Hah! I'm Lapis!"
Max shot lots of water out of his hand, then trapped Aiden inside a water bubble.
"Hah! I win! He's going to die now."
Alex walked over. "Yes, but we're going to need him alive if we wanted to interrogate him."
"Who wants to interrogate a smart person who can easily lie to us?"
There were weird bubble popping sounds coming from behind the three. They all turned to see Aiden laughing inside the bubble.
"And now he can't drown?" Max asked.
"Well, I was going to agree with Max until we learned he couldn't drown." Tai explained.
Aiden said something, but nobody knew what he said, so he facepalmed.
"Yeah right, facepalm all you want while you're still trapped in my bubble!"
"Wait, does that mean we all have powers, too?" Alex asked.
Aiden garbled something again. Nobody listened.
"I think so." Max looked at the probably-bored Aiden. "Since you two, are orange, you probably have fire powers. I have water powers, but what would that be for him?"
Aiden looked in his backpack. He put it back on again, then stretched out all his limbs.
"What's he doing?" Tai asked.
He went into a sitting position after he realized what he did didn't work.
"Are we just going to stand here and talk?" Tai asked. "Interrogate him or something!"
Aiden waved his arm, and a light circle popped up inside of the bubble. He swam into it, and was gone.
"Welp, there goes the person to interroga-"
As Max was talking, Aiden came out of a portal behind him.
"I'd love to stay, but it's time to go back home for me."
"But we can't go! They won't know who we are." Alex explained.
"I'll be fine."
"No you won't!" Max trapped him in a water bubble again.
Aiden appeared to be snapping his fingers, summoning another portal.
"Oh no you don't!" Max somehow closed the portal by saying that. "Alex! Yell at him again."
"What? No! I'm not going to yell."
Tai whispered something to Alex.
"SERIOUSLY TAI?" The ground shook as he yelled again.
Aiden tilted his head. It probably did nothing to him.
"It didn't work." Tai looked at AT again.
"Welp, at least I'm Lapis Lazuli now. You two can be rubies."
"What are you talking about?" Alex asked.
"But we're not short like them." Tai explained. "Plus, we don't look like them."
"Who cares? Anyway, what do we do now, with Aiden in a bubble and everyone else out here?"
A portal opened.
"We go through there." Alex said, looking at the portal.
