Theme song: Caravan Palace - Aftermath
Cube tries to swing at Star.
"Armani, what are you doing? I'm your friend!"
"I'm not Armani or Cube anymore. And I'm obviously not Close To Me. Heh, that was a dumb name. I'm Aftermath now."
"W-What?"
Aftermath kept trying to attack Star, but it only lead her closer to the thingy with buttons.
"I'm sorry Armani, I don't have a space triangle thingy on me!"
"I don't need one!"
"I'm getting out of here! AAH!"
One of the things Star was holding burned her hand. But, it was lucky that it made her see...
"The Rainbow Staff!"
"Not so fast!"
Aftermath grabbed onto Star just as she was running to the stick. There were voices that Star assumed was in her head.
"Run! Run before-"
"Didn't anyone ever tell you not to steal things that aren't yours?" Asked a voice that wasn't Aftermath's.
"No... Please no..."
When Star woke up again, she was by the Treeangle.
"Oh. It was just a dream."
"Star!" Circle dashed over to the tree. "Where were you? You were hurt, and Squa- Max brought you over here. How did you get hurt?"
"I don't know how, but Armani fell in some blue paint that looked like Max's color and went insane. He even thought his name was Aftermath."
"Well, I get half of that, but I don't get the other half. Why blue paint?"
"I don't know. But I also heard voices in me head. One even sounded like Square!"
"What did he say?"
"He said 'Didn't anyone tell you not to steal things that aren't yours?'. And I knew they were talking about the Rainbow Staff..."
"You found it? That's crazy! Who would want to hide the staff from us?"
"I don't know..."
"The staff? Being hidden?"
Square and Cube hopped into the conversation. Only Cube wasn't Cube.
"A-a-aftermath..."
"Who's Aftermath?" Asked Aftermath.
"Y-you are..."
"I'm not Aftermath, I'm Cube!"
"Yeah," Circle started, "Cube looks oddly... blue-er?"
"Don't worry about it. I'm fine."
"Well, I'm going to continue with the surprise." Square said.
"And I'm going to talk with Pentagon." Cube said.
"We'll see you later."
Square seems suspicious. Could he be the one who's hiding the Rainbow Staff, or is it all being planned by someone else?
