Star knew Square would fall for her trick. After all, she doesn't think that shapes can drown!
Star was just at the bottom of the slope inside the dark place. She hopped over the paint. This'll be easy.
But really, Star knew she forgot something. She forgot to lead away something dangerous other than Square. But she thought she was fine.
Star saw the staff. She finally got to it! But what she didn't notice before that she noticed now was that it was in a test tube. Really? Glass? That can't stop me from dashing through. But after dashing through, Star got nowhere. So instead, she broke the glass. And you know who heard that break?
"Who's there?" asked a voice.
"It doesn't seem like it's Square." Said a different voice.
"Who are you two?" asked Star.
"We can't see you, but I'm Moon, and this is Heart. You can call her Charm though." The first voice explained.
"Where are you two?"
"Where are you? I still can't see anything."
"Right by the Rainbow Staff. Let's stop chatting now. Max- uh, Square might hear us."
"Alright. Get the staff and let us out. Quickly, though."
Star reached through the broken glass and quickly grabbed the staff. She also grabbed one of the things on the floor and used it as a light source. Some feet to the left, there were Moon and Heart.
"You found us!" Heart quietly exclaimed.
"Now get us out of here! You'll need us to go back to where you need to go."
"Alright." Star noticed there was a lock on their cages. "Where's the key?"
"Behind the testing tube."
Star hopped behind the tube. There was the key, like they said it was. She quickly and quietly unlocked the cages.
"Come on, let's get out!"
"I CAN SEE THAT!"
Aftermath was standing outside of the trapdoor.
