Heterochromia

Everyone is born with heterochromia (a condition in which both your eyes are a different color)

In this world, your right eyes is your natural eye color, but your left eye, is your soulmate's natural eye color. But once you two meet, it's when both your eyes start to change to match each other.

Some ideas I've thought of:

- Your soulmate is blind /color blind (or maybe you)

- One person has had surgery to change both their eye colors in order to avoid their soulmate, because they are afraid of commitment

- Upon meeting your 'soulmate,' you realize that only your eyes changed to match, but not his/hers.
(or vice versa)

- Because of the need to go against the rules, you and your best friend decide to avoid meeting both of your soulmates and decided for yourselves that it was better that way, since neither of you believed in the idea that love is assigned at birth, and not chosen through your own will. Slowly, as each passing day continues, your feelings for each other have grown into something more, even though it was not meant to be that way.

- You fell in love with someone that you weren't really supposed to, because both your eyes don't match at all. But soon enough, as you both continue to fall harder, your eyes slowly begin shifting to match; completely erasing the previous color of both of your left eyes, and finally matching each others instead.
