Everyone is assigned a book that relates to your soulmate. Originally, the book won't have any pages until your soulmate is born, and only then, will the chapters begin to appear. Each chapter corresponds to a day in your soulmate's life, along with the things they've done or said throughout the day, etc. The only way you'll know if you've met your soulmate is when the last chapter contains the first word or sentence that your soulmate said to you.
