At the age of 16, you are able to 'customize' your future soulmate.
Bonus: The ability doesn't stay forever. So I'm guessing it only lasts for a year until your 17th birthday.
Ideas/prompts I've thought of for this AU:
- Lover who intentionally customize their soulmate as each other in hopes to stay together.
- Someone who is just about done customizing their soulmate, and is a month away from their 17th birthday, suddenly meets someone that they later gain feelings for. But they don't match the soulmate description at all.
