Everything is black and white for a person until they meet their soulmate.
Addition: When the soulmate dies, the world turns back to black and white for the person.
2nd Addition: Color pops up little by little in someone's world after meeting their soulmate. Ex. Small roses or soulmate's eyes in color. Until eventually everything becomes vibrant.
