Switched Bodies

You and your soulmate suddenly switch bodies one day, and the only way to get back to normal is to kiss. But, the twist is that the kiss has to be meaningful. It's only after you two have learned to love each other fully, that you can both finally switch back after a kiss.

Bonus: A good amount of your soulmate's memories and knowledge is passed on to your consciousness when you switch. 

Scenarios:

- You switch bodies with your soulmate, only to find out that they live all the way across the globe. Opposite to where you lived. The problem is that you and your soulmate are only 15-16. Meaning, it'd almost be impossible to travel to them without any allowance whatsoever. And to top it off, no one believed you when you said that you switched bodies.

- Both you and your soulmate are already in a happy, long-term relationship with someone else when your bodies got switched.

- After the switch, you find yourself inside a jail cell. This scenario has three options:

Option 1: According to your soulmate's memories, they are innocent. It's up to you to bail them out of jail from a crime they did not commit.

Option 2: Your soulmate is guilty of a crime. Learning that you switched bodies, you live in fear wondering what your soulmate is capable of doing to your friends and family back home.

Option 3: You successfully escape jail yourself and spend the rest of your days 'on the run' from the police. As well as finding your old home to get your life back.

- Waking up and finding yourself in a familiar body, you are horrified to find out that you switched bodies with your 'enemy' from a long time ago.

- You switch bodies with your ex.

- After switching bodies, you and your soulmate actually grow accustomed to each other's lives, and mutually agree to live like this forever. After a couple years, you meet each other face to face, and accidentally kiss. Being already 'in love' with each other, (more so in love with 'themselves') you switch back and are both mortified. You and your soulmate go out seeking answers on how to switch your bodies back. From traveling all over the world together, to unintentionally trying new things, having meals together, etc. you and your soulmate slowly start to fall for each other for real this time. 

- You and your soulmate have different sexualities.

- A scenario where you kissed your soulmate's identical twin on accident. And that twin already had a significant other. What's worse is that they saw you kiss.

- After months (or years) of trying to look for your destined lover, you finally kiss. Only to find out that you both didn't switch back

- Your soulmate died in your body before they could meet you and switch.

- Every year, you switch bodies with someone entirely new. This is due to the fact that you have multiple soulmates. But every year, it gets tiring, as you never really end up with any of your soulmates either way due to the distance. However, this year's soulmate felt 'different' compared to the other ones you met.
(+ they lived a block away from where you lived)

• Bonus plottwist: you eventually end up moving away and you never got to see this soulmate ever again. You never switched bodies with anyone new after the previous one. But coming back to your hometown, you see them again. Waiting for you at your favorite part of the town.

• Another bonus plottwist: While reconnecting with the previous soulmate again after the separation, you are mortified to wake up in a new body. But this body was a familiar one. It was your 'first' soulmate. The first soulmate you switched bodies with. But it seems that the first one still has lingering feelings for you after all.
