"Not exactly him but I guess he'll do for now." Kakashi said teasingly.

The young Uchiha turned around the to see a tall man with white spiked hair that flowed past his back. Red streaks mimicked tears trailing from his eyes.

"Well luckily for you little girl I'm on my way with Naruto to find a very special women! Who I might believe could help you understand more about your past!" He explained his voice roared through her ears.

"My past?" She asked confused there was no one left from her past.

"Yes ma'am she is the granddaughter of the first Hokage Hashirama Senju!" He continues only to further confuse the child.

"I don't understand I'm an Uchiha." She told the crazed man in front of her.

"That wood release says other wise! Come with Naruto and I to find this special women!" He continues a grin plastered on his face.

"I don't see why not Master Jiraya here is a pass pupil of Lord Third himself." Kakashi said patting (Y/N)'s shoulders.

"Midori said I have to stay here until I go back to my official training again." (Y/N) said in a disappointed voice.

"And when does that training start?" The crazed man questioned.

"When the next Hokage is appointed." She responded and her hands some how found themselves in her pockets an undying habit.

"Well even more reason to come she is planned to be the next Hokage!" Jiraya laughs.

"I'm sure this Midori of yours we'll be ok with this." Kakashi spoke again.

"Ok fine I suppose that I'll go as well." She smiled a hardly visible one but it was there.

"We are leaving in 2 hours meet us by Ichiraku Ramen and we'll head off to Otafuku town!" Jiraiya exclaimed and walked off to god knows where.

"You should go pack some stuff I'm sure you'll be traveling for a while." Kakashi suggested and said goodbye himself.

After placing things in a backpack (Y/N)  also took a hot shower before leaving. She still had time to walk around the village so she went to the little hill with a a single tree.

She realized that there was someone else lying there.

"Looks like we had the same idea." The person spoke spooking (Y/N) from the sudden confrontation.

"Oh it's you Shikamaru." (Y/N) said while walking closer to the young boy.

"What brings you to my favorite spot?" He asked as she lied down besides him leaving her backpack on the side.

"I guess it's our favorite spot, and I really just wanted to enjoy Konoha since I've been gone for so long." She answered looking up at the while fluffy clouds that slowly glided by.

"Our?" Shikamaru said and his eyebrows rose in surprise.

"Yeah, You seem to enjoy this place just as much as I do." She told him and turned her gaze towards the brown eyed boy.

"You know I missed sitting with you at the academy." She confessed and looked at the boy who had his gaze deep into the sky.

He sighed and looked over at her a confused look placed on his face.

"I find that hard to believe." He said and a pink tint painted his cheeks.

"Seriously Shikamaru I do it was nice sitting with you." She said tilting her body so she was facing him.

"Why are you so different now?" He asked also tilting towards her but leaving a big enough gap between them.

"I guess I learned a lot during the training." She answered and her eyes stared into his.

"I guess I missed you too." He mumbled and turned his body to face the clouds his cheeks heated up even more.

"I didn't say I missed you, I just said I missed sitting next too you." She teased playfully and flicked his pony tail with her fingers. A new side showed when she was with Shikamaru. Her eyes sparkled and a smile bigger than usual was seen on her face.

"H-Hey quit it! Stop being so troublesome." He complained and lightly shoved the Uchiha's shoulder causing a small giggle to come out her mouth.

"HEY (Y/N)!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! PERVY SAGE AND I ARE READY TO LEAVE LETS GOOOO!" a voice boomed into the pairs ears and they jumped up.

"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT CALLING ME THAT!" Master Jiriaya yelled hitting Naruto across the head.

"Oh shoot I totally forgot!"(Y/N) said while rushing down the hill.

"Hey your bag!" Shikamaru yelled out and made
(Y/N) turn around.

"Toss it to me please?" She asked and her arms were open for her bag.

"Such a drag." Shikamaru frowned and did as told at the same time he didn't mind it. He was starting to really like the new personality of hers.

"Thank you Shika!" She flashed him a small smile and jogged off to Naruto.

"Shika?" He whispers his heart skipped a beat when he heard that. He then watched her catch up to Naruto and Jiraiya.

"I told you two hours! But you were off on a hill with some boy!" Jiraiya laughed and squished one of her cheeks in a teasing way.

"Yeah what were you and Shikamaru doing?" Naruto asked his eye squinting while look at her.

"Cloud watching." She answered and walked off with the two.

"Clouding watching huh." Jiraiya repeats laughing as he reminisced on his past.

They reached a cross section as they walked to Otafuku town.

"Alright not to much of journey." The big haired man said and continued walking through the correct path.

"Pervy sage why are we taking (Y/N)? It's not a problem it's just that you didn't seem to mention it before!" Naruto asked his master as all three of them walked in different paces.

"She'd be interested in meeting Tsunade just like we are." He answered and (Y/N) just shrugged her shoulders.

"It's fine I guess hanging out with (Y/N) doesn't sound to bad." Naruto said putting his hands on his head peeking over at the Uchiha next to him.

"You're a quite one aren't ya!" Jiraiya observed since she's hardly said much.

"Uh I-I don't try to be." The only girl there said her voice shaky.

"The quite ones always hide the most potential." He told them but suddenly (Y/N) stopped.

"I feel like we're being followed." She whispers and looks around her surroundings.

"Ahh were fine you have Master Jiraiya the great Sannin and toad sage with you! No one would bother messing with us!" He laughed abruptly and patting your back.

"If you say so... also I feel that you pass statement is false, because Naruto is not quite at all and I see a lot of potential in him." She chuckled looking at the yellow haired boy who's blue eyes began to sparkle like they used to.

"You really do (Y/N)!" He asked getting closer to the Uchiha and wrapping his arm around her shoulders.

"Yeah I do." She laughs lightly ruffling his hair playfully.

She never thought she'd really have friends like Naruto. (Y/N) has grown and learned to understand bonds are needed in life. They bring strength and support for both sides of the bond. Yes, she still carries hate from the past, but that's not easy just to forget. But she wouldn't let that hate cloud her judgement anymore.
