"Wake up! Sasuke!" [y/n] exploded into his room. Sasuke shoots up from his bed, clutching his chest after unexpectedly having [y/n] bombard him while he slept peacefully.

"Wh-What!What happened!" he shouted, looking around the room frantically.

"The elders are letting me take you around the village so we can help train other shinobi!" she beamed excitedly, her smile proving how happy she indeed was.

"I—Fine, let me get ready," he sighed gently since this would be the first time he'd be out of the home in weeks. He really did need a breather. Staying inside was driving him insane.

" 'Kay see you outside!" she grinned before leaving his room. As she began to walk towards the living room, she hears Midori speaking.

"She should be coming any minute, her and Sasuke are going out to train with the others," her mother like figure explained to Shikamaru.

"Shikamaru?" she questioned while peeking from the living room.

"Hey [y/n], I was going to take you out, but if your busy, we can reschedule," he spoke calmly as his eyes watched his girlfriend get closer to him.

"You can hang out with Sasuke and me if you want," she placed a small peck on his cheek, which was a way she has begun to greet him.

"Nah, don't want to interrupt anything," he endearingly patted her head.

"You aren't, though! It's fine," she pulled him into a hug, making Shikamaru's cheeks to tint into a pink color.

"Where you guys going?" he mumbled, his stomach filling with butterflies as he looked down at his favorite person.

"Still can't win a fight against me, little cousin!" [y/n] chuckled as she pinned a kunai on Sasuke's neck, keeping him pinned onto the ground.

"Sh-Shut up!" he grumbled while smacking the kunai out of her hand.

"See what  Sasuke did..." [y/n] then began to go into an in-depth explanation about the importance of focusing chakra on specific points of the foot, to maintain good grip and control of each movement.

"Tch, how do you date a woman that fights like a man," Sasuke grumbled, as he found himself next to Shikamaru. Who was watching [y/n]'s training, taking a few mental notes himself.

"She's the brawn, and I'm the brains," he smiled lightly, wholly captivated by [y/n].

"Also, I don't see anything wrong with her strength, just because you've never won a fight against her doesn't mean you can disrespect [y/n]," Shikamaru have him a dirty look.

"Whatever,"

"No, I'm sick of the way you treat her. She's been through so much, and it's not right for you to disregard her and treat her like trash! She's done more than enough for you! I'm not one to be such an argumentative person, but enough is enough with you, Sasuke! Give her the respect she deserves!"

"Shut up. I get it!" Sasuke spat as he ran his hand through his charcoal-colored hair

"Hey, you two, that's enough!" [y/n] yelled, crossing her arms as anger contoured her face.

"If you're going to be bickering, take it elsewhere, we have important matters to worry about right now," she gave them one last menacing glare before giving her attention to the shinobi she was in charge of training.
