"What should we do, Lady Tsunade? " Shizune had a worrisome look as the hawk that delivered the note flew away.

"Get Ino and [y/n] in here now!" Tsunade demands as she placed the note down. Various thoughts were filling her head, unsure of how to take the ransom note.

"Yes! Lady Tsunade!" she bowed and quickly vanished.

The Uchiha was lying down on her favorite hill, her eyes following the white clouds trailing by. The fresh air flowed nicely as the birds chirp their little tunes. [y/n] was currently overthinking as always, trying to convince herself that she is better off not leaving the village.

She was alone; everyone she considered to be close to was off on missions, and essential tasks. Leaving her to wander around Konoha by herself. She missed the company that she had before, training with Naruto, shogi dates with Shikamaru, and family dinners with Midori and Yamato.

"I hate this," she mumbled as she began to pick at the grass. Her probation was driving her crazy, she felt useless and her days would consist of a lonely breakfast, lonely training, quick talk with Shikamaru before he would go with Temari, then lonely lunch, and end the day with some more loneliness. She hated how much time Temari would spend with Shikamaru, but she would endure since it was a task that he had to do.

"Hey!" a very preppy blonde appeared above her. Ino had a worried look as she made eye contact with the Uchiha.

"Hey?" [y/n] looked at her in a confused matter. The two of them played a significant role in Shikamaru's life, but they never truly got to know each other.

"Lady Tsunade has summoned us," she smiled nervously, in which [y/n] shot up from the ground.

"Wait, really?!" [y/n] smiled eagerly.

"Yeah, I think we should get going," Ino began to make her way towards the Hokage's offices. [y/n] didn't bother to follow her, the Uchiha instead rapidly flickered to lady Hokage.

"Lady Hokage, you summoned me," [y/n] appeared in front of her as she quickly bowed her head in respect. The Uchiha was hoping Shikamaru had decided to remove her probation.

"Read this." Tsunade handed her the note, [y/n] curiously took the paper, and as she began to read it, her hands began to shake.

"Do you know what your task is with him?" Tsunade raised her eyebrow.

"Kill Itachi," she responded coldly, still staring at the paper.

"Hmm," Tsunade hummed, looking at her suspiciously.

"I'm here, Lady Tsunade," Ino quickly walked in and paused at the door.

"He's coming back," [y/n] mumbled, gently rereading the note again.

"Ino I need you to go through [y/n]'s memories, I want to make sure this isn't some scheme," Ino swallowed hard and began to walk closer to the Uchiha.
