"Ino go find Shikamaru we have important news!" Tsunade shouted as she slammed her hands on the desk lifting herself up.

"Yes, Lady Tsunade!" Ino quickly vanished and traveled as fast as she could to the Nara residency.

"Mr. Nara!" Ino shouted while barging into the home.

"Ino! What's the problem?!" he sprung up from his couch half asleep while trying to focus on the light blonde.

"Is Shikamaru here we have news about [y/n]!" within seconds Shikamaru popped into the living room. He had dark bags under his eyes, looking pale and much thinner. The ponytail he wore was lopsided and his hair had fly always. While his lips were accessories with a dangling burning cigarette.

"[y/n] is she okay!? Are we able to get her back!?" his eyes widen in suspense.

"Lady Tsunade has information we should report to her office now," Ino spoke but she looked at him in disbelief, dumbfounded by the rugged and unhealthy way he looked. Shikamaru disappeared for a few moments and he then bolted out of his home.

"That's the first time I've seen him get up so quickly," Shikaku told the blonde who looked at him in surprise.

"That's the first time I've seen him in general,"

"Oh yeah he's a sight for sore eyes," his father sighed and threw himself back on to the couch. Ino then shook off her shock and followed the Nara, who was far gone. Once Shikamaru reached the office he walked in nonchalantly, but inside, he was crawling with anxiety.

"Oh, Sh-Shikamaru you're here!" Tsunade stumbles through her words since she was also surprised by Shikamaru's appearance.

"Yeah...what's the news about?" he yawned rubbing his eyes, yet again craving his cigarette.

"Yes, our infiltrators have spotted and spoken to
[y/n], she's well and isn't hurt but..." Tsunade coughed awkwardly and didn't know how to break the rest of the news.

"But what?!" his heart rate elevated and his palms clammed up.

"She doesn't have much of her memory," she sighed and a sorry look was placed on her face.

"Danzo has groomed her very well and it'll be hard to take her back,"

"Let me go, let me go see her! Let me get her back! She'll see me, she'll remember I-I know it!" Shikamaru begged in despair.

"I-I can do it! I-I know that I-I can!" he stammered across his words, trying to not freak out even more than he was.

"I just don't know how I could arrange that," Tsunade sighed, moving her gaze away from the sloppy looking Nara.

Shikamaru took in a deep breath, "You're telling me Kakashi Sensei was easily able to break Yamato Sensei out all that time ago! And I can't do the same for [y/n]!" Shikamaru was disappointed by his Hokage.

Tsunade sat quietly, allowing herself to take in his words, "Y-You're right," she sighed while slamming her fist on her desk.

"I'm not letting Danzo walk over me! Not anymore! I've failed [y/n] as the Hokage and I'll go with you right now to confront Danzo!" Tsunade connected the dots those years go, Kakashi didn't just get Yamato on his own he had the help from the Third Hokage.

"I just didn't want to have problems with Danzo so I was trying to investigate without confronting him, but that won't do anymore!"

Shikamaru looked at her in a surprising manner.

That's all it took to convince her?

I should have done this sooner!

He was also not pleased with the way he has handled himself but he couldn't change anything now. He had made progress and was now as close as ever to get [y/n] back.

[y/n] had trained under Danzo wing the past couple of weeks, while Izuki had made plans with Anbu infiltrators to break her out. They're plan was supposed to take place today, but the Hokage didn't let them know of her new course of action.

[y/n] skills had skyrocketed since arriving at the foundation and Danzo was very much pleased with her progress. He had made [y/n] his main student and focused most of his attention on her.

"You are a promising Uchiha," Danzo examined her fighting skills. [y/n] was combating two other foundation members, showing off how was fast and accurate she was when it came to landing all her hits. Yet as she fought her eyes were dull and her face was expressionless. The Curse of Hatred had finally consumed her, the lack of memory caused her to refocus all her hate onto Itachi again. That was the person she hated the most after all, and with her broken memories from the past, she had forgotten all about the relationships she had built, including her relationship with Shikamaru.

"Lord Danzo we have intruders!" everything stopped and Danzo order [y/n] to return to her room.

"I'm tired of fighting the same shinobi over and over again, I need something new," [y/n] refused Danzo and began to run towards the ruckus.

"[y/n] get back here!" Danzo shouted, but she flashed her Sharingan at him and the body flickered to the entrance of the Foundation. Once she got there her eyes immediately saw a grey-haired man fighting the foundation members. It was too much of a mess to see all the shinobis there, but his grey hair caught her eyes the most.

His hair caused the same sensation she felt when she remembered her necklace. Several memories flooded her mind of the grey-haired man fighting. She winced in the pain that had consumed her head, but she quickly readjusted to the situation.

"Kakashi Sensei?!" she spoke out in the midst of battle. Every one halted when her voice filled the room. Kakashi's eyes widen when he saw [y/n], she too had a change in appearance. It wasn't much but it was noticeable. Her hair had been chopped to a shorter length, and her eyes reminded him of Sasuke's hatred filled eyes. For the first time, Kakashi saw [y/n] as a full-blown Uchiha. She no longer showed the Senju in her anymore. [y/n] had completely flipped a switch from being the young girl with a burning Will of Fire to a young girl that was consumed by The Curse of Hatred.

"[y/n] let's go come on!" he yelled out still in a fighting stance.

"Kakashi we must stop meeting like this," Danzo suddenly appeared beside the Uchiha.

"And you have to stop kidnapping wood-style users," Kakashi responded while [y/n] stood in silence and anger. She was able to recover small amounts of memories that took place after her lunch with Kakashi.

"You bastard!" [y/n] screamed and began to swing at Danzo.

"Who do you think you are depriving me of my memories! And manipulating me to be your tool!" Danzo kept leaping away from her but she kept getting closer and closer. She was toying with Danzo she wanted him to feel like prey.

"ENOUGH!" Tsunade's came from behind the Uchiha, her voice was fierce and struck fear within [y/n]. She stopped mid-swing and Danzo escaped from her wrath. Tsunade had finally entered the confrontation gracefully, with Shikamaru by her side.

"Danzo what are you doing with one of my Shinobi?"
