"Then you are my friend as well." The Uchiha across from him smiled. What a pretty smile she has. The two adolescents spent hours together talking about the recent fights they've endured the past couple of months.

"Yeah, they had me in this huge place all by myself and obviously with Midori." She explained as the hours rolled by her body aches faded away.

"I swear they had me fighting two people at a time-"

"Why aren't you all... all beaten up?!" The Nara asked completely in shock of the stories (Y/N) was telling.

"I don't know I guess I just heal quickly." She answered while fidgeting with her fingers.

"Yes, sir he should be down the hall 4th door on the left."

"Looks like we have company." Shikamaru yawned while rubbing the back of his head.

"Shikamaru are you in here boy?" A tall man that basically looked like an older more beaten up version of Shikamaru asked. He entered the room and rubbed his face in what seemed in relief.

"You tell me you're hanging out with Choji... and you're not with Choji." He sighed you could tell this man was forced to look for his son.

"Yeah uh sorry dad I came by here real quick-" Shikamaru began to explain while hopping off the hospital bed.

"Between you and me son I really don't mind who you chose to spend your time with, but if it keeps you from coming home for dinner on time we have a problem. Since your mother gets mad at you and takes it out on me and I don't need that." His father rambled on his eyelids hung low while speaking to his only son.

"I didn't realize how late it got." Yawned Shikamaru it was around 7:30 in the afternoon now and he arrived around 4 in the afternoon.

"Sorry for taking my son away but he has to go home now." He said waving goodbye to (Y/N).

"No, I'm sorry for keeping him for so long." (Y/N) said embarrassed while scratching the back of her neck.

"I'll see you around (Y/N)." Shikamaru waved as he said goodbye.

"Bye Shikamaru."

After they left a nurse walked in flipping through her charts.

"I don't understand how you're healing so rapidly," she began to speak he face was painted in surprise.

"I mean Sasuke still hasn't awoken and Kakashi is still not doing so well." She explains as the Uchiha-Senju looked at her with a confused look.

"You honestly should be in the same shape as Sasuke, but yet her you are awake and doing very well." She said her eyebrows frowned trying to understand how this is happening.

"It just doesn't make any sense." She sighed worriedly about how the other two are still in a weak state.

"TAA DAA!" Midori exclaimed as she revealed a beautiful home. It took only a few days for the young girl to be released from the hospital.

"Wow, your house...it's so nice!" The Uchiha ran to the front door excited to be in her new home. The young girl has forgotten the feeling of walking into a regular home. There was a front lawn the house was made from dark oak wood and, it looked appealing with the green contrast of the nature surrounding it.

"You really think so (Y/N)?" Midori asked wanting confirmation of the girl she will now be taking care of.

"Yes, Midori I really do!" She exclaimed now standing by the front door. Yet (Y/N) hasn't noticed the home to the side of her new one. She will soon find out that it belongs to the head of the Nara clan. (Y/N) was now the next-door neighbor to her beloved friend Shikamaru.
