burning kiss

[y/n] was flickering her way back to the devastated village; her eyes widening at all the damage. Her heart pounding as she began to worry for all of her friends.

"See anyone?" [y/n] asked as she waited for her cousin to catch up.

"Seems like everyone's near the hospital," Sasuke responded as he finally got closer to his cousin. [y/n] nodded and continued, her heart racing while noticing how full the hospital was. It was so full they had patients outside on stretchers.

"[y/n]! How are your chakra levels?" a medical-nin asked as the young Uchiha made it to the hospital grounds.

"They're good! Do you guys need a hand?" she flickered over to her.

"I need you to help heal these guys out here. Their injuries aren't severe. If you stay out here, we'll have more doctors helping those who are in critical condition,"

"Yes, ma'am," she shook her head, and she began to help those who were injured. Her mind was hazy since she was still trying to understand what went down.

"I'm going to look for Naruto," Sasuke spoke and then vanished.

Itachi is dead.

Her lifetime goal was now completed, and she didn't know what to think.

She was like a robot. As she helped the many shinobi, and from the corner of her eye, she saw a familiar pale blonde haired girl.

"Ino," [y/n] quickly looked over to her in hopes of seeing Shikamaru, and when she did, her heart dropped into her stomach. Shikamaru was being held by choji and ino.

"Shikamaru!" she shouted before flickering her way towards her boyfriend.

"[y-y/n]," Choji sniffled.

"What are you guys doing?!"

"HELP HIM!" the Uchiha grabbed Shikamaru and quickly placed him onto the ground.

Her hands began to rip off his clothes, in search of where he was bleeding. She found his injuries, and her eyes began to blur with tears. He looked so lifeless, so dead. [y/n] has never worked as fast as she was at the moment. Her Sharingan was activated, and her hands were glowing a dark blue aura as they dealt with the gashes that littered his body.

"[y/n]! Stop! We have to take him to Tsuande," Ino tried to pull [y/n] off Shikamaru, but she noticed something different in the Uchiha. The same blue aura began to manifest all over her and Shikamaru's body.

"Ino, she's healing him," Choji gasped as he saw the way [y/n]'s hair floated against gravity. Shikamaru wounds were being heald at excessive rates as [y/n]'s tears fell onto his porcelain skin.

"You're stupid if you think you're dying," she spoke to his unconscious body. [y/n] started to calm down when she saw his chakra flowing again.

"What happened?" [y/n] tilted her head towards Shikamaru's comrades.

"Ino used her jutsu, and Shikamaru protected her body," Choji replied. He was afraid of [y/n] at that moment; he's never seen anybody manifest chakra physically, no one besides Naruto.

"I see," she replied and looked over to her boyfriend once more. She then began to perform CPR and Shikamaru started to cough after a few more moments.

"Shika!" [y/n]'s chakra disappeared, and her tears flowed from her eyes even quicker. She then engulfed him into a deep, tender hug.

"Oh, thank god you're okay," he whispered while hugging her back.

"You scared me, Sh-Shikamaru N-Nara," she pulled her face away to look at his.

"I'm sorry," Shikamaru smiled weakly.

"It's okay, It's fine, you're alive, that's all that matters," she placed a burning kiss onto his lips, a kiss Shikamaru smiled into, though he was still in pain having her in his grips just made things better.
